You send nothing as Cain jumps down and the company sizes up aroun him.

He points to the decimated gatehouse .

"Oh.... hmm, well whatever it was, probably still around knowing our luck." Burias said with a shrug as he looked at the pile of debris that was appreantly the guard house. "How you want to do this?" he asked, already betting Cain got a plan going in hish head.

She turned to the company around her. "What do you think tore through here?" She moved forward to the gatehouse, searching for anything of interest.

Burias nods as he forms up with the group that Cain had picked out. He unslunged his Ak for now, not wanting to cause a fire in the building and burn it down on accident with pyromancy unless it was absolutly needed. "Let us see what is in there then." he remarked.

Cain leads you up the road silently and you notice a scene of carnage.

Bodies lay butchered in te sun , attracting al manner of bugs and vermin.

The loading bay door is blown open and debris lays scattered all over.

Burias remain silent as they walked up to the facility, keeping his assault rifle readied. 'Well, there's the guards...' a voice noted as they passed the bodies, once more glad to have his gasmask. "I would say that the point of entry." Burias said quietly as he looked over large pieces of scap strewn about, what was left of the doors.

Sorianna covers her nose from the stench of rotting flesh. She was familiar with the smell but it was still unpleasant. Looking back at the guard house she noted the destruction and she frowned slightly.

"Was this all caused by one creature?" She looked back to the loading bay door, literally broken off its frame and then some. "Or by multiple creatures?" She cocked her head, looking more closely at the frame of the bay doors, trying to determine whether they had been blown apart from the inside or torn outwards by some force.

cain crouches , gripping a long length of leather tipped by a barbed hook.


"SOmething using an evicerator....Fuck...Dervish prototypes have been released."

Krieg grunts, crouching low and gripping two swords.

"We need to go....There are other med facilities to hit."

"Problem is we do not know if they have the meds jacob needs while we do know this one does." Burias said to krieg as shouldered his rifle now, not likeing the fact that both of them are getting tense about a dervish, what ever that was. "Waste too much time looking around, neffe might go through another episode before we get more." he added.

Sorianna looked back at the boy sitting with the rest of Black Company. "What exactly are we dealing with? What makes them so dangerous?"

cain says nothing and begins to walk, making his way into the facilities blown dfoors.

you can see that the doors were sliced open, the bodies dissected as if a moving blender had ran through them.


In the distance you hear screaming, someone is still alive, cain breaks off into a run and runs into the shadows as krieg covers his face with his palm.


"their baiting us.."

krieg breathes.

"Fall back..Whatever it is it knows were here.."

Sorianna reaches out to feel for the person screaming. Bait or not it wasn't in her to leave someone who needed help. Her mind expanded out, searching for a heartbeat or fresh blood. Under her breath she muttered.

"I wish he wouldn't run headlong into things like this."

"You do not find it weird that it just happens to strike the same facility that we needed?" Burias asked Krieg. The voices in his head were getting annoyed. "I am pretty sure if we leave, and it will know when we do of course, it will probably just hunt us down instead." he said shaking his head. He goes off and follows cain, turning on the the low light filter on the draconic gas mask.

the hallways make a warzoner look tame.

Bodies, bodies lay dessicated and evicerated all over the corridoors, blood stains the walls and puddles on the gfloor saturating the place with the stench of decay.

Cain Runs into a storage area and searches around, massive crates obscuring most of the view but making narrow corridoors to see.

YOu sense something, you see a man being hung from rafters by long barebed hooks. two digging into the soft meat of his armpit and one wrapped dangerously around its neck.

you look up and see a figure, shrouded in darkness. UIt smilies at the pain its inflicting, lifting its leg you notice the leather straps are connected to its arms and legs, and as it lifts its leg you notice thwe strap around the mans throat tighten until the barbed hook rips the throat open.

the man sputters and dies....and as the dark figure moves, you can see something.

Its cain. ...

Not as you know him. The figures eyes are bi colored, one blue, one red. And its face is off, angular, harder. THe figure laughs a rusty laugh that sounds like aged gears grinding and you see him kick off the rafter he is standing on, flinging the body into the darkness below him

Sorianna cringes slightly at the strength of the sight. She blinked a few times. "What in the world...." She walked over and grabbed the front of Kreig's jacket.

"Enough of this. How many clones of Cain are there Kreig? I just saw a man in there with Cain's face. If he's alone and this is the amount of damage he can do?" she gestured around the facility. "If you don't share what you know those two are walking into a fucking disaster because they don't have the mind to wait for two and a half god damn seconds."

She hissed in frustration as she let go of Kreig, looking into the darkness of the bay doors.

Burias caught up with Cain, only to realize he was going into a maze of massive crates and containers. "A maze......why? Just why?" he sighed to himself as he goes to try to caught with cain before he goes to deep for him to find him in the puzzle of a room.

you hear something heavy hit the ground. you turn and see an evicerated corpse face first on the ground, its head turned completely around.


you see something dart above you and vanish past you.

cain morphs two hand scythes .

"back to back burias....Theres no telling wahts here."






Krieg looks up at you in annoyance.

"Its not a fucking clone sori! The dervish is abel! Not project ABel ! Augustuses son Abel! This is as bad as it gets....Those two are up agasint something even i wouldnt want to fight."

"Jawohl." he responed to cain as he backs up to him. He kepts the Ak-47 readied and pointed down the passaged he was looking at as he glanced up to try to cover thier backside as they advanced through the labyrinth like storage area.
