Sorianna watched with concern as the company behind Augustus grew in size, feeling the palpable tension between the two sides. She did not know what was going on here, nor of the past history between anyone here. She felt herself take a step back, her habit of avoiding confrontation telling her to get away from all of this, but she stilled her movements, knowing it would be a horrible idea.

In a movement almost too fast to be seen, cain lunges forward. Bringing his fist across in a brutal cross that sends augustus staggering. Cain growls and lunges forward as the air instantly fills with laser sigtyhs all trained on the silenccer dominus.

 

"Let me be clear Augustus...You may have made this.....but we dont play by your rules...We dont abide by your damn laws....We fight on our own accord...Die by our choice....You can take your piddly sodding ass back to your little hole and disappear for a couple hundred more years...This world doesnt need you.....It never did."

 

The elderlyes eyes glow and cain is flung like a rag doll backwards, lading in a heap.

Before anyone could react, melinko fires. The shots recouil was deafenming, and augustus is barely able to react with enough time to avert the deadly projectile into the woods behind him.

 

Bullters fill the air instantly, raking the gastations sides with bulltes as morgana instintively shoves you down.

Sorianna grunts as her face meets the dirt, and she let out a deep sigh. "Fantastic....utterly fantastic. Nightmare and his ghouls are trying to rip our guts out and here we are getting into a fire fight." She adjusted her head so she would not be watching the company dwindle as bullets riddled their bodies.

Burias just shook his head, not paying much mind to the air being filled with hot lead by the opposing companies. "Too much fighting, not enough talking." he growled under his voice, the flames now enveloping his entire self. 'ow, this one is actually hurting.' some of the voices said, surprised by the feedback as the drachen tried to gather more power then he has tried before, the fire coalesceing into a mass above him. "look...Ive not done right by you cain...Or by any of you for that matter...But if we dont figure something out soon, the undead are going to amassand were gonna bury us in bodies.

"Oh, that comment earlier, as if you have a podium to stand on when it comes to mistakes, lord of the dummkopfs." he said with a chuckled.

Sorianna growled in frustration and in a split second, escaped from underneath her sister, acquired a rock from the ground and threw it at Cain's face. "I have a name dammit!" She walked up to Cain, staring him down, her feathers puffed up in anger. "You want my opinion? You all are being idiots! We have Nightmare back in that town and apparently all over the fucking place and you," She poked Cain in the chest "and you," She pointed at Augustus "lead troops that are willing to turn each other into Swiss cheese before you can get two words out!"

 

She glared at Cain. "I don't doubt that punch was warranted, but a bit of fore thought wouldn't do you any harm. You have a brain, Cain. Stop using it to try and kill yourself."

His men fade into the forest as he cracks his jaw.

" there is a massive Chinese landing force bear inner down here ..... We have to either hold them here or drive them back.... From there we can make plans for nightmare ."

"Are they doing the whole 'bodies over bullets' tactic?" Burias asked. "Could start pushing them back by killing the leaders, since most of them would be conscripts right? Otherwise we're going to need to set up a hell of a defensive line, and I do not thing we have the numbers to defend that big of a perimeter from what you are saying about the Chinese so far." he finished, telling both cains what he thought of on Augustus's plan.

Sorianna glared slightly at Cain, crossing her arms over her chest and stepped away from Cain, giving him some room after her out burst. A small grimace came to her face as she looked between the men as they talked. This was an area she couldn't really give her opinion on.

" you won't be fighting the entire force.... Just a branch.. My forces will be engaging them directly. I have acess to better toys ."

" you want an assassination unit to hold off a rouge landing force?"

" you have the luck of a base of operation ..... Your base sits at a choke point. They can only charge you. You kill them in the honeypot and my men will sweep them from the side and push to the sea while you go about your own directives."

" and you expect me to trust you enough to hold out while you and your force swoop in? What's to say you won't abandon is invthevfirefight ?"

Sorianna looked over at her mother, standing behind Augustus, and back to the man that was standing in front of them. She shifted slightly from foot to foot, her wings stretching a little before folding onto her back.

 

"What does he have that you want?" She asked Augustus.

"If what he says is right, they are going to come through here sooner or later dispite if we agree helping him or not." Burias said to Krieg before looking over to Cain. "And we will not be able to do much to nightmare or the ghouls if the Chinese are breathing down our neck. We have black company, but we don't have the resources to fight both an organized army and the roaming ghoul swarms with nightmare hosts." he reasoned with Cain. "Besides, your dad has too much at stake with you alone to abandon an entire elite company that he might have as an ally to help him. Afterall, he's you with your thinking, only ancient." he finished. He looked up to Augustus. "No offense."

"I want you to send me enough entrenchment weapons to hold augustus...DOnt deliver and youll be fighting your war alone."

 

cain shoves past burias and stops, stopping and patting his shoulder.

He laughs as he continues to the gas station leaqving sori and the anciet warrior alone,.

Sorianna turned to watch Cain walk away for a moment. She looked at Burias and nodded in Cain's direction. "Go, I'll be there shortly."


She turned back to Augustus, offering her hand. "I'm sure you already know, but I'm Sorianna. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Looking around to see if anyone was trying to walk over to them, seeing no one doing so, and Sori now talking with Augustus, Burias jogs over to the gas station to try to catch up with cain. 'You're an idiot, you know that?' a voice said to him in a condescending tone as Burias moved.
