altiel screams, the shadows burning like chaff beneath a harsh flame and he looks at you full of hate.

Burias ignored the now charred body as he stood up and dusted off the ash and dirt before heading toward where he saw cain get tackled by another shadow. 'He's right you know...' he heard them chuckle in the back of his mind. He just gave a grunt of annoyance and flames flickered around his hands.

the sahdows part around your flames, like spuiders scuttling from the flame as yousee cain, fighting with another shadow.

 

He moves impossibly fast, but you can see the cadaver is struggling to keep up. 

 

Hector, former headtaker dominus of hummingbird company grips a stun rod taken from the chinese. You had heard of this man ..And the excesses he comitted. The ehadtaker had long been under suspsicion of cannibalism but always beat the charge. Now he hisses like an animal, fighting blade to blade with the silencer commander, spitting hatred and fury

cain lunges to the site, but with suprising speed and power hector turns and strikes down, cleaving the flame in half as he looks at you.

 

"Burias..."

 

He hisses, the flames singing somone of the smoke but not burning like altiel.

 

"Still impulsive....Still slow."

"Are you really talking to me about impulsiveness there hannibal Hector?" Burias said in disbelief at the former headtaker, using the nickname coin by everyone when the cannabilism charges were brought to court against the man. "Come on, I am right here, do it!" he challenged him. 'The hell are you doing?' a voice asked distressed.

he mioves with impossible speed and power, slamming the baton across your helmet and sending you tumbling across the knoll, landing hard agasint a tree as your head swims.

hector hisses, grabbing a knife from his belt as cain stands behind him, trying to get his feet

"You just need a hug don't you?" Burias he muttered in a dazed voice as he went to embrace the corpse, trying to wrap his arms over hector's, before trying the same tactic he used against Ateila.

he spins , kicking you roughly in the stomach and doubling you over as he grips your helmet and turns your head up.

He hisses, and suddenly a hot spray of blood covers your mask, a long curved blade justting from his chest as cain hisses.

 

"Back to hell...Freak.."

 

he hisses as hectorys body explodes, ripped apart by the iron inside as cainpants, dazed by the show of power

"That....could have gone better." Burias winced as he sat down for a moment, feeling dizzy at all the hits to the head he had taken in a short amount of time from two former commanders. "You ok bruder?" he asked as he held his own head in an effort to make his world stop spinning.

cain smirks weakly.

 

"Were alive..We survived the siege didnt we."

".....Think we will go to hell like them?" he asked. What Ateila said earlier to him bothered more than he wanted to admitted to Cain at the moment, especially after seeing them the way  they were after coming back from the dead.

Cain smiles softly.

 

"They are in hell becasue of the horrible things they did for themselves...Anything e did..Im sure whatever god is up there will understand."

 

He lifts you up and smiles at the dent on your helmet.

"I think they both did." Burias said. "We should go though, see how Jacob is Ja?" he asked cain.

If i know jacob.."

 

He says with a weak smile.

 

"Hes exhausted and sick...but we canst stay here..We risk not survivng the next assault."

"You think Krieg and the others already got something underway then?" Burias asked, wondering himself what they will be doing now that the depot wasn't as defendable after the battering it received from the chinese.

he lifts his iron into his pouch and begins to walk.

 

"ABregas gonna complain at me watch."

"I do not see why, we won right?" Burias said, unsure now, as they moved through the forest to get out. "I mean, we at least get to leave now, agreement with Augustus over and done ja?" he asked.

he smiles and sits you on a stone.

 

"Yea.....im not too sure how i feel about this whole augustus thing...This was a bullshjit seige....I dont see how he expected anyone to survive it."

".....Maybe that was the point?" Burias suggested with a shrug. "I do not know what he wants, he is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma in a giant vat of vinegar." Burias said
