Predator laughs.

" it's good to see you too small human."

He opens hi wings as Cain pushes burias off and goes into the room to get Jacob.

" I see Coreus has seen better days huh."

"Ja, you could say that." Burias sighs to predator as he watches cain go off to get his son. "Titan said we need to find another irridium geode to help him and coreus, but I do not know where to even look for another one, let alone get it......I guess I can ask krieg before I try punching out all his teeth." he said, the last party quietly to himself as he thought over what they should do. "So what have you been doing?" he asked the owl patriarch since he hasn't seen him for awhile, that he knows of.

Sorianna is quiet, remembering her encounter with the great wolfs decaying body. She watches Cain disappear into the rest stop. "It's not just Cain's mind that is failing is it father? Coreus's is failing as well." she asked him in a low voice.

She starts following Cain, not realizing Burias was in the attempt to have a conversation with her father, too wrapped up in her thoughts to pay attention. She needed some space to rest and let her mind process what was happening. So much information had been dumped on her shoulders in less than a week.

She sighed, her body feeling so heavy, her thoughts jumping from one thing to the next. She sat down, wrapping her arms around her legs and resting her head on her knees.

Burias looked over to his side when he didn't hear Predator answer for awhile, now seeing that both him and Sorianna where not there. "Oh...I guess I am just talking to myself. Well nothing new there." he admitted to no one. He looked around for a bit and saw that sorianna was actually sitting pretty close to the stop, as if she just sat down mid stride going into the building, with her body all tucked up to itself. He goes over and sits by her silently and looks over to her. "You ok?" he asks quietly, wondering what's wrong.

"I'm fine." she lies, speaking softly. "Just tired. It's been a long week for me." She does not shift as she stares at nothing in particular. She goes quiet again as she falls back into her thoughts.

Predator hops off of Doris shoulder and sit on buriases shoulder pecking his helm,

" come human.... Lead me to your camp... Let those two talk."

"I do have a name, just saying." He chuckled to the bird. He looked over to sorianna and nodded. "Ok, I'll take you to the rest of them pred." he said as he stood up and letting her and cain have some privacy, making sure he had both of his ghoulbone machetes before he headed south from the stop, back to the rest in the camp. "So...now that you are on my shoulder, how have you been?" he asks now a second time.

Sorianna smiles for just a moment as she feels her father leave her shoulder. He always knew when she needed some time. Her eyes closed for a few moments, her body still felt so heavy and she really did not want to move.

the owl pokes you roughly.

"ALL HAIL ME"

he screeches, spreading his wings wide as he smiles.

"i am fine young one....Its good to see you well."

Cain comes out , carrying jacob in his arms and sits beside sori, spitting ot another wad of blood.

"so im guessing you know everything huh.."

Burias couldn't help but laugh with the patriarch owl. "Gut to see that you are in great spirits." he said as he laugh became a chuckle. "....So you are not mad about the whole me going....woosh." he said making a gesture of his hands going up in the air, mimicing flames. "That I did awhile ago?" he asked him.

"Know isn't the correct word. I remember my past but after ten years it feels like they aren't my memories. If I thought I felt disconnected before, that was nothing compared to this. I was told things at first that I thought were a lie, then found out that I was being told the truth and everything else I knew was a lie...."

She took a deep breath, falling silent. She couldn't even keep her thoughts solid enough to keep up a conversation.

cain puts a steadying hand on her shoulder.

Try waking up one morning...unable to control yourself, your actions...Being trapped in your own head and watching yourself kill everything you loved...Losing youer wife...sons...Home.."

He laughs and reaches into his belt pulling out a lolipop.

"dont takwe that as me one upping you...Take it as perspective."


Predator smiles.

Burias stopped, looked at Predator, took him off his shoulder and into his hands, then precedes to hug the owl. "Oh my god you are so adorable!" he said as he now continued walking and hugging the bird. "I'm going to hug you, pet you, feed you and you shall become my first owl friend" he said as he hugged predator, being in a great mood after all that had transpired earlier.

"I know others have gone through much more horrifying things than my experiences. I have been locked up....safe and sound hidden in a village..." her voice became bitter. "I just don't know what to do...expectation were thrown on me and I don't know if I can live up to it..."

She sighs deeply. "How do you deal with it Cain?"

Predator assaults you with his wings

" unharmed me human!"

He screeche wildly clawing a your arms.


" you never do hun.. You simply get heavier shoulders.... You're not alone anymore."

Despite the struggles and protests of the patriarch, he kept up his loving embrace. "Awww, give me a little struggle snuggle." Burias said to predater, the snout of his draconic gasmask nuzzling the owl's feathers. "If you say you love me, I will let you free and you can perch on my head." he offered him.

Sorianna looks up at the sky, taking a deep breath of air. She turns to look at Cain and the sleeping boy in his arms. "You have a wonderful boy there" She reaches over and brushes his hair away from his face.

"I'm not sure how lucid you were in the town."

The bird wheezes , almost going limp.



Cain smiles and looks at Jacob sadly.

" it isn't just Jacob in there , it's Joseph too.."

He smiles and touches her hand softly .

" he's been getting worse since I told him about his mother."

"Joseph...that's your other boy? What was done to him? His mind is...." She stopped, not wanting to upset him. "He's powerful..."

She looked down as he touched her hand. "He's like you...brought back to life." She gripped his hand, feeling the blood flow under the skin. "You are alive but wish you weren't" She looks into his eyes.

"Your past haunts you terribly."

Burias stops squeezing the bird and looks down to him. "Now was that so hard?" he asked predator with a wide grin underneath the gasmask. He lifts him up and places him on the top of his drachen blut helmet. "Enjoy your new spot komrade." he said as he did so, making sure to keep standing straight as he walked.
