the door opens, and inside you see a massive garage full of weapons and gear. 

 

to your left you see many half made mechs and rows of weapons.

 

The gunfire outside rages on and the door begins to close, the garage is large and more equipment may be deeper, but once the door closes it will be almost impossible to get out without a mech.

 

"Move fast burias.."

 

cain grunts in annoyance.

 

"THeres alot coming."

"Ja Ja Ja Ja." Burias said rapidly as he searched for a complete mech to use, skipping any that looked like they weren't complete. Although this did raise the question in his head as to why so many wouldn't be battle ready at a moments notice and wonders if they caught them with their pants down or if they're resource problem is worse than he was told. But he had to focus on getting a mech out and cause enough of a ruckus for the Valarian and the other loyalist Drachens to capitalize on.

The door grinds closed with a deafening clap, and the sound of gunfire wanes.

Based on the stains on the floor, you infer that this area was teeming with ghouls before the dragons claimed it, and then you happen upon it.

Three suits.

One with close combat weapons , one with long range and one with a combination thruster hammer and shield .

The carnage outside begins to ramp up as Cain can be heard fighting, obviously tapping into his purifier abilities to even up an unfair fight

Giving a quick glance to the three options while the noises of the battle outside pressured him so, Burias sprinted at the one with the Hammer and shield since with that one he won't have to worry about ammunition running out with that one. The Drachen boy hops up to it and tries to do a crash course in trying to figure out how to turn it on and get the suit going immediately so he could get out to help Cain outside.

the suit powers up without delay and it interfaces directly with your helmet. 

 

"dracen blut 447.."

 

The suits ai chimes as the garage comes into view, and suddenly the cockpit of a ruined mech smashes through the door and comes to a sparking skittering halt right in front of you.

 

"Combat nearyby..."

"And so is the new exit." Burias said to no one in particular. "Alright, guess it just moves when I move? Lets test it out in a live combat scenario, what's the worst that can happen." he said to himself as he tries to walk with the mech suit, also trying to test out the arms that held the hammer. First time he used something heavier than a ghoulbone machete.

The suit moves easily , and when you get outside you can see cain surrounded by those weird infested drachens, pinned to the earth with metal ripped from the environment as he fights with a bigger beast .

It is large, bipedal with armoires legs similar to what looks like some form of bovine legs. It swings at the purifier with clawed hands and he expertly ducks and dodged the attacks .

“ oh hi burials!”

He says as he morphs a metal rod through the beasts arm to restrain it.

“ fire please!”

"Noguns!OnlyHammer!" Burias tried to warned Cain quickly as he moved forward, the suit surprisingly not as hard as he expected to use, raising the hammer over his head to strike down onto the weird cow thing's head while pumping the lever to get the jet on the weapon to go off to get more momentum out of the swing. 'Gods I hope I know what I am doing.' Burias thought to himself as more an afterthought now as everything happened.

cains eyes register confusion before the beast punches him and he is sent flying into the garage, leaving you alone with the beast as it snarls.

 

 

"faaaaaa..."

 

you hear cain groan from inside the garage as he comes to in a clatter of suits.

 

"cccck.."

"Whoops." Burias whispered quietly to himself after missing the monster thing which let it get that hit in on Cain. "Let's try again." He said as he brings back the hammer. But now that Cain wasn't in the danger zone, Burias goes for a horizontal swing with the hammer at the weird half bull thing's body for a better chance at hitting it this time, or at least the Demonborn drachens that were too close for their own good.

the hammer splatters the beast in a one swing, but within seconds, it reforms and begins to push agiasnt your hammer.

 

the damage seems to make it hyper evolve, looking like a humanoid taken over by some form of fungus as its tendrils wrap around your hammer and it tries to wrnch it away

"That's cool but also really unfair!" Burias shouted at whatever the hell the thing was. Thinking of what he could possibly do while inside the mechanized suit against something that could adapt to whatever hit it. "Uh, if this is a suit for Drachen's, can I...." He was mostly saying to himself as the boy held out a hand to use his pyromancy on the head of the hammer to burn off the creature's flesh trying to take his hammer away.

the suits internal systems slide some syringes under yuoue skin, and within moments the suit beeps, revealing that it now has the cpabilities to use almost any ability you have.

 

 

cain comes back into view, his mask damaged, and he looks at a dumpster.

 

"Burias...Hurt that thing until it cant fight back...we have to keep moving to the objectives."

"On it!" Burias responded happily after getting the little update from the suit, now using his pyromancy to heat up the hammer to free it from the thing's new head tendrils while using his free hand to launch a stream of flame straight to its face to make it regret living in general.

The hammer hits home with a thunderous boom, splattering wriggling tendrils one all directsions as gunfire takes the suits sode.


“ oh this is good.”

Cain says as the telltale hiss of a whistler round is loaded and he fires, dropping a target .

“ burias we need a plan.”

He says through his teeth as the beasts arm raises and grips the hammer weakly

Burias goes to rip the hammer out of the things grasp. "Uh...did not really expect that we get this far." he said to himself as thoughts raced in his mind about what to do next, the flow getting interrupted by both the battle around them and his own interrupting psychosis. Burias checked to the hud to see if there was a communications device or something to turn off first before he spoke again, not wanting to accidentally let the these drachens know of the plan on an open channel or something just as a bad. "Well the door is open permanently for the rest to get the gear, probably should move the fight somewhere else to let them do that." He suggested as he went to grab the monster thing to drag it while turning on the boosters one more time.

the whistler screams from the rifle, butchering two pursuers as a horrible scream fills the air.

 

The drachens look up and you can see three tall, horrible creaturres in the woods nearby screaming in challenge. The drachen almost forget you as they charge toward the figures, leaving cain blinking in confusion.

 

"What in the....."

 

he says confuseedly

"....Frenemies?" Burias shrugged, the mechanical suit mimicking the gesture with a whine of servos. He wasn't even sure what the trio of things were but they were at least distracting the Demonborn Drachens. "It gives us a chance to do what we need to do at least, loot the place and get the rest of the guys armed already or find the guy in charge in the citadel and put him down." He suggested as he watched the fight go down to see how it might turn out.

th webeasts move with fury, butchering the demonborn like rabid beasts until more are sent out and cain sighs.

 

"Fuck it...not gonna ask questions."

 

motioning toward the armory he smirks.

 

"there is a truck in here......Well load up quickly and break out with waht we can get."

"With this suit the heavy lifting should be easy at least." Burias said as he headed back into the hole he made on his way out of the armory. Putting the hammer aside, the Drachen boy looked around to see what was available that he could just pick up in bulk and put it in the bed of the truck, be it small arms, ammo caches, or whatever he can get his new mech hands on.
