"Are we sleeping here?" Raissa asked. "I was in the middle of a string of all nighters when you returned. I haven't slept in almost 4 days. Speaking of.." She opened her coat and pulls a vial out of the bandolier on her waist, deftly attaching a needle and injecting it quickly into her arm. She pulled out two more, attaching needles and handing one to Sethis. "A meal in shot form. It will keep us sustained until we can get solid food."

She held out her hand to Krausus, waiting for him to offer his arm.

He took up the offered syringe and looked at it oddly. 'Hmpf, I prefer my meals alive, and squirming, and maybe screaming.' the voice in his head complained. "I thought you said this was still in the testing phases?" he asked as he played with it a little. He wouldn't deny he was hungry, but he prefered his meals made of meat instead.

"It was. I was testing it on myself and a few...select random passersby." She glances sidelong at Sethis. "It works quite well if not too much. The other test subjects had unexplained diabetic seizures that the med ward could not find the cause of. Probably due to the dosage. Your bodies will be able to metabolize the shot much faster."

He looked at Raissa for a moment before shaking his head. "Would explain why they took the sweets out of the cafeteria. I missed those cookies." he said as he rolled up a sleeve. He slid the needle in between his scales and pushed the plunger down. "Probably a good idea to do this instead of getting food from an unknown source for now too." he reasoned.

Krausus plunges the hammer home and smirks,

"Not without the briefcase. All of my notes on Sethis and yourself are in there." She turns and heads back to the cave to retrieve her documents.

"The sooner we can get out of the snow the better." Sethis said as he goes to follow raissa to help pick up all the different forms of data she wanted to gather.

her gfather is sitting there holding the briefcase, holding a ehavy tundra jacket .

he asks, roasting waht looks to be a small bird over an oopen fire with eager eyes.

outside in the cold krausus cracks his spine and looks at sweth.

"You undercut me asshole...YOu said five weeks....Ill bt two."

"You should be happy, you will need the time to get over 'a number of obstacles'" he said with a smirk to Kraussus. He looks to the mouth of the cave and then back to his brother. "In all honesty, I think you two might get along quiet nicely when you two actually talk to one another with out snarkish remarks." he said, telling him his own thoughts.

"I'm not hungry papa." Raissa sits on the other side of the fire. "You seem quite healthy considering the Nazi's have been keeping you underground...and quite calm considering the circumstances."

She moves closer to the fire, realizing she had been out in the cold much too long. She looks hard at her father. "So are you going to tell me the truth? Tell me why the Nazis wanted you? Why we are now sitting in this cave? What do you know or have that they want?" Her demeanor was calm but there was an edge of anger in her voice.

He takes a small bite from the bird and motions krausus over.

" the reason...I was contains is two things. A I created the serum that cause the organs to bond to the host .... Thereby perfecting the Prometheus project for ho siht ...."

He grows silent as krausus sits down.

" I know who the woman by the furhers side truely is."

Raissa's mind travels back to the operating room, Krausus and Sethis are cut open and she is putting the organ in their bodies. She rolls her shoulders uncomfortably as she watches the tissue stitch together from her memories. It still fascinated her, and she truly wanted to know more, but now was a poor time to grill her father on the science of the subject.

"Ho Siht...why would the Nazis need you if you had already made the serum, and what is so special about the lady assassin?"

'....We could have an actually meal, but you had to take that shot.' Sethis heard the thing hiss in an annoyed tone after noticing the roasting bird. He tried to ignore it as he focuses on what the man just said. "Would that be the one back during that debacle in the operating room who acted like she knew you bruder?" Sethis asked Kraussus, wondering what this was leading to.

He nods slowly, ripping off a drumstick and placing I on a peice of cloth in front of Seth.

" that assassin Leah is a clone of the ghoul queen noctourne.... , taken from snippets of DNA collected by the scientists Altur kronen .. Kraususes papa."

He looks at the master of assassins carefully, a sad smile on his face.

" he raised her as your older sister edited the night many years ago... When the estate burned down ."

Krausus stands and walks away without a word into the blizzard as he sighs.

"His father was a brilliant man. He helped me with the serum. But the reason ho siht wants that formula... Is because they are making a army . A clone army code named legion."

"Oh, would explain why she acted the way she did." Sethis said to himself quietly. He only now noticed that his bruder was gone already, outside in the snow. He looked down to the food he was given, his appetite gone now. "That fire, what happened that caused that?" he asked, feeling that it was not as simple as just a plain accident considering who was living there.

Raissa's eyes light up. "Clones? An entire army..like him?" She pointed at the retreating form of Krausus. "How are they managing it? The reports indicated that the original was extremely unstable and Krausus seems to be following that pattern. Are they planning on a smash and win strategy or did they perfect something in the clones?"

[Thugren]

He sighs deeply.

"raissa...DO you not see the bigger picture? the project with cain wasnt a failurer.....It was deemed one to deter other nations to replicate the information.; Cain is a pefeected aesir prototype. The only issuee they hacve is the orridium."

"Making clones of something perfect results in something that is no longer perfect. Manipulate DNA too much and it becomes completely different from what you want. Cain may be a perfect prototype but how is there a guarantee that his clones will work just as well? And what does that mean for these two? I had to preform their surgeries alone. I'm talented but I'm not nearly that talented. I had to have screwed up somewhere...how do I know I haven't sentenced them both to death after they've already been killed?

"Kind of thought so, but didn't have anything to back it up." he shrugged. He raised his hand up to get his attention again. "My question still stands about asking about that fire of the estate of a important scientist and ghoul queen clone along with my bruder." he asked riassa's father.

That is the point raissa. They want to wweed out all the personality flaws and traights from the original protottype and use the clones simply to fight undead. The big picture and small one are two different entitites. Cain himself, along with deathtoll are being sent to the heart. But there is no guarentee that the ghouls will stop pouring out as long as damion noctourne exist. The clone army is simply to spare ho sit the cost of manpower."


He takes a small bite of his meal.

"As for your question seth. The fire wasnt ever an accident. It was set up by krausues older sister as a way to make it look like the house was attacked. She officially told the furher that everyone inside died. But years later when krausus was genetically put into the bank it was found that he was in fact alive. Much to the ladies dismay."
