[Armoured Priest]

'A very angry and wrathful entity seems like an appropriate guess for that.' Sethis thought to himself. It didn't seem like a simple extension to his brother's psionic abilities like he used to think with Kraussus not wanting to explain before. Now he wonder what he had to deal with as he lived with this entity that is now attached to Kraussus, or what aims that it had for itself. He was starting to see his own brother in a much different light than before and wasn't sure just how much he was going to be able to ask when he gets back.

you are suddenly jpolted back into your skin, krausus is sitting with his back turned from you, smoking a cigarette silently.

Sethis blinked a few times, his vision blurry a little, before trying to stand up. "So....why did that, I do not know, cultist? Try to do what he did? And just what is that entity?" he asked, keeping his feelings on it neutral. While he did see it just crush a man like an insect, Kraussus seemed to have kept it calm over the years he knew him and he wasn't sure how he view the arrangement he has with it.

"Sammael."

 

Krausus says flalty, flicking out the cigarette.

 

"ITs a common ritual performed by alot of the more...Primal religions here...It is to bind a creature from beyond to a psionic. Alot of people say that psychics shouldnt exist in our world, that mankinds brains are not supposed to be able to function this way. All i know is that some psionics are posessed by these beings , and the only fact that kept me alive is that i am a natural psionic...Not one that was gifted with it through the ritual he tried."

"What is it like for you? I mean, it's definetly sentient from what I saw." he asked now as he walked over to Kraussus. "Has he tried to do things that you didn't want to do, that sort of thing bruder." he added as he took a seat next to him.

Krausus exhales slowly.

 

"No..its never been like that at all. Hes never made me massacre people..I dont have to feed him the blood of innocents or make a black sacrament... He just exists. An extension of my strength...He helped rapidly cultivate me into who i am..Its the only reason i survived."

"Wasn't trying to say anything like that Kraussus. Was just trying to get an idea of what it was and how you been with it, you don't talk that much, about anything." he explained, poking his bicep as a joking gesture. "But, why tell me now?" he asked. "Or why not earlier, or even mention it at all?" he added, curious at to his brother's reason for his timing.

Krausus makes a cup come to his hand, pouring some water from his canteen into it.

 

"Becasue i never though to speak of it....Or better sauid i didnt want to."

 

the canteen lifts into the eair and pours itself as krausus pulls out a razor blade.

"And you are telling me now because.....?" He asked, leaving it hanging for Kraussus to answer. "Also, if you knew what that room was, I'm surprised you let me go there so many times, at least before......well you remember." he said, referencing the portal like incident they had in the vault room.

"Its convenient."

 

Krausus says flatly.

 

"ANd you deserve to know why certain things are the way they are."

 

He opens and closes his hand watching the ceiling, cracking his neck slowly/

Sethis looked up and stared at the ceiling with Kraussus, silent for a few moments. "Is there something else you don't want to tell me about just yet bruder?" he asked, having a nagging feeling that there is after hearing how his brother worded what he last said. He never though of Kraussus to keep these kind of secrecy with Sethis, but seems like that's starting to change.

Krausus shook his head slowly.

 

"When we where small i watched you...Protected you....Always made sure you had the best chances for that smart scaly head of yours."

 

he laughs and laces his fingers behind his head.

 

"This....All of this..Its going to get very bad. There is going to be alot more dark where we walk. And i need you to know that before we go. The powers we will call upon...The beings and things youll see. It isnt all fixed with a quick stab. Your going to have to get stronger..Alot stronger."

"...You always did look after me, ever since the alleyway. Even with all the weird things that happened between then and now." He said, reflecting on there past for a moment. "Not going to lie, I'm not sure if my curiosity is outweighing my fears this time Kraussus. Last time I tried something, something almost ate you thanks to me. I don't want a repeat of that, or something worse, to happen to you or Raissa just because I do not know what the hell I'm doing." he admitted to Krassus, his hands covering his snout as he rubbed his face in weariness. "But, I guess there's not much choice if we're going to survive Adolfo." he said before looking over to Kraussus. "You're still going to be there, right bruder?"

Krausus smiles, nodding.

 

"ill be there....Weve got alot to do before thaat."

Sethis laughed his slithery laugh, as if things were still normal. "Then why are we still laying around here, will not be able get much done in a abandoned office building, ja?" he said as he stood up, dusting off his coat. He offered his hand to Kraussus. "Come on, Raissa probably beat back home and doing gods know what." he said with a smirk.

"Krausus stands and points outsidwe where the dead are amassing.

 

"pluse we need sheltyer...Well never survive full winters cold ."

Sethis sighs. "They probably just going to be there tomorrow morning when we wake up, persistent bastards. Besides, I do not know if there is anywhere in this forsaken facility that can still keep us warm." he shrugs after helping his brother get back up. ".....Wait, where is everyone else then? Shouldn't we try to contact Marduk and the others who came with us?" he asked, now remembering they didn't come to the camps alone.

Krausus perks up.

 

'where in the hell did he go?"

 

krausus lifts himself onto the roof and looks around, seeing no trace of them on the grounds.

 

"fuck....."

 

He points to a ancient supply building."

 

"lets go there...THere hjas to be rations there and blankets...We can wait out the night."

"Well that is kind of strange of him...." Sethis said as he trailed off. "I do not suppose you can give me a lift, ah nevermind." sethis said as he climbs the cage of the armory to get to the hole made by the creature and Kraussus earlier.

suddenly, you are lifted into the air , compleyely agasint the flow of gravity aqnd rational thought and krausus smirks.

 

"One screwball...coming up."

 

Suddenly you are hit with a wave of force that sends you tumbling like a bag of tangled limbs toward the supply depot, landing in a pile of compost hamrlessly
