[Armoured Priest]

"As long as you do not overextend yourself, you eventually will need rest too." Sethis said as he put away the PDA into the bag again, placing it so Krausses could easily get it incase he needed it, before leaning against the window. He didn't really like to sleep in a moving vehicle, was hard for him with the constant rocking motion and the motor engine running. More used to a silent place with something solid to lay on. But it's not like they could really do that nowadays with them being on the run from a number of different factions now. He wondered what choices in his life he took that got him to this particular situation as he tried to rest.

Krausus drives for hours, well into the day and night,. But for the first time, you sleep.

 

When you awaken you are in the car alone, parked by a barrel on fire, casting a warm glow over the car as your swimming vision stabilizes, showing krausus heaving bodies into a pile alone, his face calm in the face of such tedious work

Sethis rubbed his eyes as he stifled a yawn, stopping his jaws from opening wide again, before he unbuckled his seat belt and getting out of the truck. He wasn't quiet sure if they were where they were suppose to be, and he was very sure he didn't know why his brother was piling bodies. He walked over to him, hands in his pockets from the cold out of habit, as he looked over the bodies. "More assassins bruder?" he asked, the first thing to come across his mind. It wasn't all that unlikely for them anyways, wither they were wanted or not in the first place.

krausus stops and shakes his head.

 

"Nah...These are just the ghouls in the rest stop."

 

He reaches into his pants and grabs a lighter, flicking it open and tossing it into the pile of bodies. The bodies are consumed by flame quickly. The rot and bloat causing the bodies to go up easily as kraus sits, wrapping his arms around his knees.

 

"Just waiting for your mom."

"Well at least it was not as bad as I thought it was then." Sethis said as he watched the fire consumed the ghoul corpses. At least there wasn't much else here to threaten them it seemed, but Sethis was still uneasy being in the open still. "You did not want to wake me up to secure the area? What if there was something here you needed help with?" He said, half scorning and half yawning as he did so. He didn't like that Krausses decided to go into a possibly hostile area without him.

"His mind needed to turn off."

 

A soft, female voice says from behind you, making krasus leap to his feet and whirl around.

 

Out of the shadows, a female serpent appears, whisps of blackness cascading down the obscuring robes.

 

"He is lost and has no idea waht to do...ANd he wanted something mechanical he could do so he could relax."

 

Krausus has a blade in his hand, his muscles tense but he watches the figure.

 

"Seth...Im hoping this is your mom.."

"I think so? It is not like I actually seen her recently or remember what she looked like." Sethis reminded him as they watched her. Even if he wasn't sure logically, he couldn't but help feel like this was his mother and this all felt....normal? "Mother?" he said aloud tentatively, still having a difficult time beliveing that he is finally meeting his mother. After all, he could actually still be in the car sleeping and this was a cruel dream made up in his mind.

the figure nods very slowly.

 

"It is me boy..."

 

He says , sweeping her hooded gaze to the tense assasin.

 

"Seth please calm the black hand assasin down..... I mean you both no harmk>"

"I'm pretty sure you can stand down Kraussus." Sethis told him, putting a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He understood though, there been a number of times when supposedly friendly faces try to back stab them moments later after meeting them. Stepping past him and towards her, but not sure how to follow up now. He didn't exactly plan this far ahead when it came to finally seeing his mother. "...Honestly I did not think i would even get to this point, you know, actually seeing you or talking to you." He admitted to his mother with a nervous laugh. Not being much of a people person didn't help either.

she comes forward and embraces him softly, her arms closing around the snakes back gently.

 

"I always kept an eye on you...Always.."

 

She says as krausus goes back to hurling ghouls into the  fire to keep the pyre lit.

"Im sorry for how you came up.....BUt it looks like you had a loyal friend to grow up with."

 

Krqausus tuts at the comment and stomps on a still living ghouls skull to end it grabbing for him

Sethis had to fight back some tears that were threatening to start streaming out from his eyes, something he hadn't had to do since his childhood after Kraussus helped him get more hardened to things life would throw at them. "He's not a friend, he's my brother mutter." he said in a somewhat choked voice as he hugged her back. It felt familiar, despite never remembering ever being held by her before. "And don't be, it could have been a lot worse, especially without Kraussus." He tries to reassure her with the same thought that did with him on a daily basis.

Krausus watches this for several moments before he turns and leaves, walking into the rest area to forage any preserved food or resources.

 

With him gone , your mother draws back and places his hands on your shoulder..

 

"So are you coming home with me now that the nazis are dead? ive been waiting for so long to see you.."

"Krausses can come with us right? I like to go home, even if I don't know it, but I will not leave him behind either Mother." Sethis said, wondering why she would have waited till Krausses had left to ask him that. He was starting to feel like he was about to be put into a situation where his mother was going to force him to choose between her and his brother. And for once....he wasn't sure what his answer would be this time.

she considers you with a frown.

 

"You want to bring the black hand?"

 

She asks confused.

 

"His vigil is over...You dont have to bring him if you dont want..You want to distance yourself from that life dont you?"

 

she watches him go and shrugs.

 

"Hes welcome to come..I just hadnt considered it."

[Armoured Priest]

"I do want him to come, I want to give him a new life so he can get away from our old ways." Sethis explained to his mother, his earlier doubts now quickly vanishing after hearing her answer. "Or at least try to, I know I do not want to leave him behind." He stated simply as his own answer to his mother. Maybe they will hopefully get to leave soon as well.

[Thugren]

krausus comes back and your mother lets you go, turning to him.

 

"Sethis wants you to come with us black hand...You held vigil over my son for a long time and protected him....YOu are welcome to come if youd like."

 

Krausus shrugs at this and grabs his coat.

 

"Ill come....Its probably the best for all of us."

Sethis smiled brightly at his brother's answer, probably the first time he had done so in months maybe even years now. "Danke bruder." he said sincerely to Krauss. "We could start a whole new life, are you not excited bruder?" He asked him, hoping he was. Though he felt a bit of doubtfulness that Krauss would, being to diehard on his beliefs.

"I dont.."

 

Krausus says as sethises mother puts up a hand to silence him.

 

"He doesnt understand black hand..... I understand you though..Well find a way to help you cope ok?"

 

Krausus nods as a few figures come from the shadows, each wearing defaced ho siht silencer suits.

 

"Seth....Do you want to know why he is struggling?"

'They must be with mother...' he noted to himself mentally as others came forward to be seen. He wondered just how long they have been here in the first place. Sethis nodded to his mother in confirmation. Despite all his years living with Krausses, even he'll admit he just doesn't seem to understand him at times despite how much that frustrates him to even admit it to himself. Perhaps mother had dealt with what Krausses has been dealing with before? He wasn't sure but he was about to find out it seems.

"with or without the reich..With or without his history...There are some people who never will make it out of society alive...SOme people who are so damaged and broken that they need somone to guidet heir hands,to keep them narrow and correct."

 

Krausus winces at her words and nods.

 

"In his mind , He knows waht the reich did is wrong. He knows they had to be destroyed... And he knows, more thqan anyone else in that organisation...He probably deserves to die. However.... They gave him purpose...Gave a little theif boy something to fight in.. "

 

Krausus puts on hismaskto obscure hisface as the truck is emptuied and you both are lead towaht lookslikeagaping black maw in the wall of thegas station.
