I had a new recruit register with the website last night and it told him he was banned from the website immediately. his name is johnson7177 or something like that. There seems to be a lot of issues with this happening to individuals?
This bot protection program is stopping people from registering

Since the 10th of September we have had 85 people register. Of this number, 13 have been banned by the myBB system as bots, and 10 have been banned by mods as bots, and continuing the trend only 1 actual person has been banned since all that Crimson Derp stuff at Christmas. I have had 1 report of people being blocked "inappropriately" in this timeframe, 10/09-10/10 (this thread).
Now the problem with your guy is that somewhere on the internet his email account or IP address has been associated with a spam bot. Short of turning off all of our bot defences we cannot do anything to help him.
What he can do is get me to register him manually, which will bypass the spammer registration system. It should be noted that this checker is the same one we've been running since day 1 of the websites creation, and before us Graia ran the same checker (it's default choice for all forum types, but not everyone chooses to enable it). The new checker checks actual posts, not registrations.

Well if you want to set him up with an account and password and mail it to me ill give him the info on live. He used me as a referal so make sure i get my 50 forum points

Doesn't work that way, I cannot share account details. I need them to email me (that way I also have the email address I need to make the account).
Tell them to hit "Contact Us" at the bottom-left of the site
