@JC: Actually the Spriggan from Skyrim doesn't have faces.. That is more likely a Faun or some other forest spirit.
@Fuzzy: As for number 3, that is a girl celebrating the Mexican holiday "Día de Muertos", or Day of the Dead. A day of praying and remembering of those who have died, and honoring their memory. Skeletons and skulls are a symbol for the dead, and they have food, candy, masks, ornaments and much more, all in the shapes of skulls and skeletons, which explains her face being painted like a skull. A common symbol for "Día de Muertos", is a colorful skull covered in flowers. If I'm not mistaken, it's celebrated around the end of October, or beginning of November.
Damn, I'm educational today!

Fun to see that you actually react on that wallpaper. It's one of my favorite, both quote and wallpaper to go with it. The message can be interpreted in many ways, but not necessarily right or wrong, but as long as it makes you react in some way, I think it has fulfilled it's purpose.
