I wasn't intending to buy one because it's a trash console. However, PS4's have more units for sale here but are sold out until March, whereas I can walk into the store and buy an XB1. XB1 has 1/5 the preorders of the PS4 in NZ so far.

I intended to get one for a few exclusives like Halo, might consider getting it first just so I have BF4 to play over my Xmas holiday. Depends if I can raise the $850 required to buy it

Reading up on it and looking at all the stats from my uncle in Microsoft, the XB1 is actually the better console. However the media will forever be the media and give it shitty views

Sorry, there's just no room for a X1 in my family's budget, especially after a few financial incidents last month. Also my mom gets super paranoid about anything with a camera, and the "X1 is always watching and listening" line didn't help at all.

Any console will have problems on launch. Mass produced and new, there is always a problems with any product with it first hits the shelves.
