Corner update: A thought just occurred to me that I would very much like to have a pet gremlin from the movie "gremlins" not the furry mogwi thing but an actual gremlin. What movie creature (if any) would you guys want for a pet?

To be fair, once you get past the shine and glitter, it's a crap story in my opinion and overused morale of today.I couldn't possibly do it, I'd be awed by the special effects and graphics that puts James Cameron's Avatar to shame...
At least the godzilla movies where made to have the message about the dangers of nuclear weapons and the unknown effects they have during their time by being represented by a force born in nuclear fire. (remember the first godzilla movie was made not that long after the first bombings or the end of the war.) And still have revelance today and the different movies have their own messages too.
Besides, they were great effects for their time, just like people in the future will look at avatar and go 'wow, and people enjoyed these effects?'
