Hey guys -

Figured that I would bring this over to the creative minds in this community. I've been hard at work for the past few months prepping to likely go into the armed forces, working myself half-dead, and preparing for the Holidays. So for those that I've missed out on catching up with very often I deeply apologize. For those of you who have kept in touch over facebook/email/etc. it's been awesome keeping a good update on the workings around. Don't think I don't pop in to check everything out! I just have very limited time these days especially with this - My Story Project.

I have started a campaign to raise the funds to found and support the project. In the meantime I have assembled a team of artists, designers, and story-board collaborators to make this as professional and up to the task as possible. Some of my team members include individuals who have worked on titles such as Berserk, Fullmetal Alchemist, and even a well renowned Cosplay artist and Digital artist Lalasosu.

Anywho, if you guys would feel free to take a look I'd deeply appreciate it. You don't have to support it via funds by any means if you don't see fit but the least I ask is that you pass it around to any you may feel are interested. This is a deeply rooted life goal of mine and it would be amazing to know that I have the support of my Gothic Wars family!

I actually have a folder full of art, of course, that will be released as the coming days go by to show people what is in store as far as characters, creatures, etc. These artists are truly amazing, especially the one who has her work featured in the campaign. I haven't met another artist that can take something from words and turn it into something of visual stance with such creativity and outstanding detail as her and she be completely humble and a dream to work with.

I have an artist dedicated to the "Human" Characters as well as one dedicated to "Non-Humans" which will be easier to release without many spoilers. Gotta find a balance between allowing the sight of progress and not spoiling too many surprises.

Of course, you guys here will likely get to see a bit more than others. ^^

Keiya, I do very much enjoy the link that you have posted. With the nice fact of picking up a second job this month, I will have a lot more funds availble. Therefore I will be able to donate here on gothicwars and to your project. This excites me and I hope to see your work prosper. Some of this stuff is awesome and I wish i had 2% of your and your compatriot's artistic talent. Either way, expect a donation in about 2 weeks from me.

Thanks for the comments! It means a lot to get feedback and hear positive things about the project from people. Ironically we made a huge choice last night to actually involve my Artist in more than just art. She is widely known in the Anime/Cosplay world and will thus be promoting it as well as acting as a story boarder which will kick this project leaps and bounds forward.

Even if you don't/can't donate then all I ask is that you share the information with someone else you think might like it. I'd rather people know about it almost more than support fund it. After all this isn't so much for future personal gain but moreso with the want to share an original story with people at the best quality level possible.

But what female within that part of society doesn't enjoy yaoi these days?

You should totally run a blog on GWRS 2.0 documenting your progress on this project Keiya. I'm not that big into Anime, but people here are and I'm sure they'd love it like moths and lightbulbs
