Greetings fellow members,

I have been unsuccessfully attempting to paste written information into threads, but nothing I have tried seems to work.

Normal "ctl + v" does absolutely nothing, and what appears to be the paste function in the options panel also fails to do anything even if I input the information by hand.

Could anyone shed some light on this?

Control V works for me in Chrome and Firefox on Windows 8. I use it regularly the bit above the quote was pasted

Well, I tried Chrome and it suddenly works.  I was using Windows 7 with Internet Explorer, so maybe there is a compatibility issue.

Thanks

Possibly. Our party line is "we do not support IE"

I had this exact problem when using someone elses computer, on my home PC it works on IE.

To get around this go to More Reply Options and then somewhere on that box of options is something allowing you to change the text box to plain text thing, which allows you to paste it.

I'm afraid I can't give more detailed instructions because I am using a tablet device and can't view all the options given from More Reply Options.
