Anyone know what this is, or how it is compared to the Blood Bowl version we've had for years? It seems to be the same game, but with cross platform multiplayer

I saw it when the Blood Bowl league was changing over to Gothic Wars instead of just Night Lords and asked Lothair about it but we both has little idea of what it was...

I think it is just a thing to test out stuff I imagine. Kind of useful put mostly pointless. A lot of Blood Bowl is luck and risk assessment. EG you need rerolls or your gonna have a bad time and your players will probably need block or most rolls will cause your players to go down just because they can't do anything on Both Down dice. Also I think it allows you to create a situation and then say you gave it to me watch how I would attempt to deal with the situation so you know in the future how to deal with me dealing with the situation but to be honest if I'm Lizardmen I'm going to run it in with my Skinks that have 9 Movement allowance, if I'm Chaos or any team with 3+ Agility and I'm behind the halfway line I will throw the ball just to get it out of my half if there are no interceptors of course =)

If you want to try it out be my guest but I have no real idea of what it is. =/

 

I'm more interested in what Blood Bowl 2 is going to be like as the only thing I think they could add in would be possibly anothe race but I think they had them all or just update the graphics which for me with my oldish laptop isn't going to work out well as I probably wouldn't be able to run it and if it just works the exact same as Blood Bowl but does some animation when a Defender stumbles/downed then I don't really care for it. Also from the teaser the announcer's voices are worse =/

Also on the Blood Bowl official forums there is no section about it so I am rather confused...

It's a distinctly different game the other BB. I'll just download it and try it
