Well I finally finished some series this week. I watched: Saiyuki, Black Lagoon, Claymore, Full Metal Panic, Evangelion.

Well I finally finished some series this week. I watched: Saiyuki, Black Lagoon, Claymore, Full Metal Panic, Evangelion.

So what did you think of Black Lagoon and Full Metal Panic? I loved both of them. Black Lagoon for how gritty and dark it can be (plus Balalaika) and  Full Metal Panic for the humor.

I am currently watching Sword Art Online. Its ok, don't think its amazing, but its good enough to watch to the end. (unless it has more than one season, in which case no way)

I agree with you. Sword art online was one massive hype train and it really fell off after the first season. My advice is do not watch the second season... in which the show attempts to ram its head up its own ass so badly you want to cry.

I watched the first episode, never bothered after that :/ Was thinking about picking it up again, but due to these reviews I've changed my mind.

Well my recommendation is this, watch until after they finishing fighting a boss called the blue eyes demon. Then stop. It just nosedives after that fight.

Watching a new anime now, its called Now and Then, Here and There. It is pretty much grimdark the anime. It has child soldiers, *CENSORED*, murder, torture and indoctrination. All of this is the perspective of a really young child with idealistic views and heapings of innocence. Yeah. It's kinda messed up, but kinda awesome.

Sounds like fun, could be an adventure. I've seen weird things involving the villians eyebrows all over the net though.

Just watched Final Fantasy 7,Re-watched Soul Eater, Trigun Badlands, More Kill La Kill. I'll watch more later though.

Alright, watching Hellsing Ultimate now. I also finished watching the Original Hellsing anime. From what I gathered, Hellsing Original has the better soundtrack(which I agree with), while ultimate has the better animation(which I also agree with). It also has blond eviscerated puppies and 70' plasma screen TV's (not with 3D though, because everyone knows its a stupid gimmick)
