Cool. Im glad you stopped at the end of Season 1. That way the show isnt ruined for you. If you are feeling more MMO style anime, a far better anime than SAO is called Log Horizon. I highly recommend it.

 

That being said, I have some free time tonight and I'm brain dead from studying, so it's time to start watching some Mirai Nikki. Im ready for some super Tsundere action. xD

Don't know if this is the right place to really ask but is that Hellsing anime thing is it any good? I saw some Abridged Hellsing that Team Four Star did but I'm wondering if it would be a waste of my very precious time or worth a watch.

 

I did learn one thing from the Abridged Hellsing which is "bitches love cannons".

 

If I'm asking in the wrong place then I'll make a new thread with blackjack and hookers...

okay, so what you want to watch it Hellsing Ultimate. It's only 10 episodes. It's awesome. Dont watch the regular hellsing for it is terrible. Abridged uses hellsing ultimate. 

 

I'd say it's worth it since it is pretty short. Unfortunately you will be laughing when it tries to be dark and scary due to seeing abridged already. xD

Actually, regular hellsing has a pretty awesome OST, much better than ultimate in my opinion. But that is the only thing it has going for it.

Well I've watched the first four episodes of Hellsing Ultimate and I will says its pretty good.

 

Rip Van Winkle shouldn't have been killed, too fucking cute to be killed... I mean she was a Nazi, psycho who sang occasionally but yeah she was cute. =/

I found her annoying as all hell, I hated every moment of her screen time. When she died and when she was dying was really satisfying though.

Well I first saw her in the abridged and she rick rolled everyone and having listening to that kind of put me off her but then you see her cuteness so... She should've had more screen time or just sang more...

 

Some of the German marching songs from World War II and before are pretty cool. Even if some are about fighting the English. That being said the Fallschirmjager marching song, Erika and Stuka Lied are pretty awesome.

 

When Rip Van Winkle was being killed I considered to stop watching. Did make me think Alucard is that much more heartless and evil if you could kill someone that cute... I mean Alucard is already awesome who kills anyone who gets in his way like that swat team in Brazil who could have just been scared off pretty easily but as everyone knows he's a monster, its what he does... Although they did fire the first shot, Alucard just went for a walk...

 

I've now watch up to the 7th episode and dislike the Vatican's forces quite a bit as they have too much of a preacher message if you ask me. I know that Hellsing also have a religious message but they aren't throwing it around constantly. Nice to see Policegirl finally going crazy killing Nazi Vampires and taking down a Zeppelin.

 

Schrodinger confuses and annoys me. Don't really understand their purpose other than being annoying and delivering a message to Britain. Who knows in the next few episodes I might find something more about them but other than that he just seems annoying and looks like a furry!

Wait he didn't surrender? French are known for surrendering at the first sign of a war/fight... =P

 

I wasn't a massive fan of the captain. He was ok but his death was one of the worst I've seen in the series, getting hit in the back by a scythe sounds painful although he did make Policegirl go into a frenzy after drinking his blood. Also the feels from the scene, wonder if Alucard will even notice that Frenchie's died =P

 

Worst death is probably Miss Winkle's death. Getting a musket forced through your chest, slowly. All while Alucard is scaring the life out of her. What a bastard, Alucard is. ='(

 

Other people's deaths have been bad but most of them have just been quick and relatively painless in comparison.
