It just seems like your challenging Pilot to drop many nukes on a mountain until it is removed...

What is so great about finding Mt Fuji first. Doesn't give that great of a boost to outputs.

Don't think that's how that works. Can remove non capital city with a nuke.

No it just fucks it up. Nukes do a lot of damage and irradiate tiles, which is like pillaging but on steroids

Well it just means you have an extra thing to remove. Having Liberty and the Pyramids reduced tile improvement time by 50% so it becomes less of an issue when you have them.

Does having a unit spend a turn in fallout cause damage? I've never tried as I think the possibility of losing or damaging one of my units is kind of stupid =P

You have to fix it in the same way as fixing pillaged tiles

So it acts as double pillaged. Doesn't seem too bad just doubles the repair time...

Trust me, it is very bad for the victim! Just do not ask me why I would know. I am not planning anything!

How could my Chaos Space Marine possibly be this cute?

It affects a huge area rather than just one tile. Basically freezes the benefits of a city till most of the fallout is cleaned. Also units fighting in it recieve a -33% combat modifier.

Small problem, April 5th is the same day The Elder Scrolls Online is released which my little bro has been hard about for months anticipating which means I will not get anywhere NEAR the shared PC, and because Civ is tied to his Steam and he can't gift it to me I can't install it on mine.

I'm afraid I'm out of this tournament already :/

I've seen nukes go off before and I know what they do with the fallout spread. I've always taken a city the turn I nuke it and raze or capture it if its a city that cannot be destroyed.

So when I see a nuke go off the city the nuke was dropped should be taken very quickly or you've just pissed someone off with nothing to very little to show for it =P

Bwahahaha my bad - but by god the fall out is hilarious.

The truth is that BOTH dates are correct as there are two Civ 5 weekends in a row. I just typed up the wrong ones; due to my error we'll hotseat this weekend and plan for the one afterwards.

This means I'll make the teams on the fly and with the first-come style spot selection. I'll tell the standby people that there will be spots

It wouldn't be too bad but on the 29th I start work at 8pm and probably won't be back till midnight or 1am...

I'll be there for the 5th though, unless everyone can't be arsed and I go and play with myself on Civ 5...
