you awake in a slightly flooded tunnel, you are laying on your back in the rising water and see augustus trudging through the murk to get to you.

 

 

"up and at em al....Seems we got seperated from rob,....Hell need to be heading out soon anyway...The damn Neo Armada are pushing forward too fast to coantain,...Youre with me asshole."

With a pained grunt of effort, Alduwin sat up and he was appreantly back to human form in the body suit Augustus gave them earlier but now there was blackened bone in the shape of ceramic plates that would normally be put on the armor. "Just like old times then, Ja bruder?" he chuckled as he readjusted his enclosed helm before standing back up. "You are going to go over what you did to me right?" he asked as he tried to walk through the watery tunnel with Augustus. "Or you know, the 'I'm in constant pain' thing you mentioned earlier bruder?" he asked as well, the earlier mirth dampened by concern.

Augustus is leaning agasit the side of the tube, gripping his forearm with a pained look on his face as he inhjects something into his arm.

 

"Brother...Do you really want to know.."

[Armoured Priest]

"Uh, Ja? I think I would want to know what is wrong with my own bruder who saved my arse multiple times?" he replied to Augustus as he watched him inject. "I thought the apple thingy was suppose to help you while we were on ice?" he asked as he leaned against the wall facing Augustus the tunnel wall opposite of him.

I'm to the point that my body rejects edens apple friend....."

He says tiredly as the injection does it's work .

" if I'm to survive te deterioration we need to go to Russia.... They have the vaccine now."

"Then what are we waiting for, that's a long trip just getting to the continent." he said as stood back up and walked over to Augustus, ready to help him if he wanted it. "Hell, I'm sure we could even get there with Drachens if you can't spare any of your silencers too." he said in a upbeat tone, looking forward to see how his family has fared over the centuries.

Adolfo has taken over the nazi regime in Germany...

Augustus grunts with a pained expression.

" he fights his father, alduin..... The last loyal sea hen blur forces are with him ."

His smile immediately fell off as Augustus broke the news to him. "You know.....I think I might have been happier in the ice." he said as he helps him move. "So, are all my relatives killing each other instead of doing what Drachen blut was then?" he asked, his whole mood and tone now soured at the illusion breaking update.

[Thugren]

" your grandson is holding to the morals.... His grandfather as we'll. I don't know what happened to Adolfo ."

He gets to his feet and sighs .

" I did my best to give him a good life."

[Armoured Priest]

"I know bruder, I know." He sighed as he goes over to help him a little, seeing him struggle to even get up. " I guess I should have expected some Scheiße to happen while I sleep. Unfair to expect you to handle the whole world with the way it is and you." He said as they moved down the hall, still getting used to his own armor and legs again as well after being frozen for so long. "I do not suppose after getting you cured first before anything that there might be some time to fix that, I mean, I'm just asking." he inquired.

augustus smiled injecting a blue serum into his leg.

 

"focus...We have to get to cain as soon as posssible.....he has my grandson...And that is a ticking shell"

"I think you dying on your feet wouldn't be the best way to go see your son there bruder. Not the best way to present yourself." He chuckled a little, trying to lighten the rather grim tone that's been going on with degenertative diseases and broken families. "I guess as long as we get things done though, and you do not get too sicky." he said with a shrug.

augustus shakes his friend off and stands, cracking his back.

 

"The attack here was bold....but we should be ok...We need to get to the submarine bay."

[Armoured Priest]

"Wow, we still have U-boats?" Alduwin asked, letting him lead them to the submarine pen. "Wait, how bad did the oceans get while I been on ice Augustus? Because I do remember you predicting that it would be, how did you say it?.......Not pretty?" He asked him, already thinking they would become canned meals to some fish ghouls, the irony not lost on him.

augustus limps to a door and swipes a card.

 

"the oceans arent too bad....We managed to hunt some of the apex predators into the abysses and havent seen them for years."

[Armoured Priest]

".....That's not really comforting you know that right?" he told him as he helped him move through the threshold of the door. "I guess as long as they don't get a sudden surge of motivation to come back out of the dark, it won't be so bad. But lets get this trip over with as fast as possible and get you better, ja?" he said as he tried to lighten his and Augustus mood after what they been through withing just the past few hours.

he takes you into the bay and you can see it was a bloodbath. Inhotep forces  are recovering from the firefight, leaning agasint crates and scavenging from the dead as you notice one ,am watching the fight closely. His face is obscured behind a black hood and long leather hooks hang from his jacket, tipped with wicked edges

"Kann ich auch wissen wollen, wer Herr Haken ist da?" He asked Augustus as they moved through the carnage. Looks like whatever fight that happened here was over and done in the inhotep forces' favor easily enough.

augustus replies tiredly as the figure watches them carefully.

 

"His name is abel.."

"I thought you didn't like the name able?" Alduwin asked Augustus, head cocked to one side in question. He looks over to the man watching them and gives a small wave, seeing that the guy doesn't seem that sociable. 'Even Augsutus was warmer then that.' a voice whispered in the back of his mind.
