[An_A10_Pilot]

Hey guys, 
You all know that my dream and goal is to fly the A10 Warthog. Currently I'm in Uni and have about a year left before I complete that and can then go to pilot school.
That was until last friday. I had a bad bike accident and it looks like I may have shredded three of the ligaments in my left knee. Specifically, the ACL, MCL, and LCL. In the mean time I have to wear this brace.

And today I got an MRI of my Knee. Here is my normal (Silly) self.

So, I'm hoping that my knee isnt too messed up, but if it is, it will mean that won't be able to become a pilot. :/ I'm trying to stay in good spirits, but I'm having a hard time seeing a bright side to this. Ill update here on monday to let you all know what the results from the MRI said. 

Apologies for the thread, but I needed to say something as I just feel my dream coming crashing down around my ears.

Well, Time to Update this thread.

Luckily, I only tore my ACL. So, shortly I will be getting an ACL reconstructive surgury. Due to the circumstances of the surgury, it will take a full year before I can do high impact activities. So no MMA for Pilot for a year. Or quidditch. :/ 

 

But the good news is that it doesn't instantly disqualify me from being a Pilot. So, I shall be pushing myself to maintain my 4.0 at Uni so that the USAF will have no choice but to accept me. Plus, who else is going to kill *cough* i mean support Havok? xD 

Thank you guys for the support! Ill be having the surgury in about 3 weeks. From there it will be intense Physical Therapy.  Happy Hunting people! You support has really helped thru these past two weeks of doubt. I will work my ass off to get better. In the meantime, Ill be off my feet a lot, so you know what that means?

Great to hear things worked out ok for ya Pilot. I mean, you would've had to change your name if it didn't, and that would just be confusing. We'd have to get Pony counselling, and I'm not paying for that shit
