the doctor finishes quickly and comes over to you.

 

WIthout hesitation he begins the procedures that the lizard had once did.

 

"who do you think taught him those procedures you over grown plutonium rod?"

 

the doctor tuts, checking your temperatures.

 

'YOu need to fix your diet....YOur plutonoium count is low."

"Like those just grow from trees right?" He grumbled as he fixed his coat. He looks over to Krieg. "Explain?" he asked, refering to what kreig just said.

the doctor chuckles as he injects you with a heavy plutonium dose.

 

"I taught that scaly boy how to do waht he did...He was my greatest apprentice.....I miss him dearly."

krieg huffs, folding his arms and the doctor chuckles again

"Other than the fact you tried to kill him before?" Aberga asked Krieg, bringing up the incident where he saw a furious krieg chasing down the casted and limping Thaes. "And Plutonium or uranium, not like most of those sources are under guard and key nowadays." He mentioned. "Of course still have to fine an actual base and not this garbage heap." He added, waving a hand toward the facility.

Well finish this battle here and go get the facility in detroit....."

 

Cain growls, coming forward without warning, the silencers steps completely hidden.

 

"Are you ready for this Abrega."

"So you do have a plan, that's good to know." Aberga said as he fixed his uniform once the doctor was finished. "My soldiers are dug in and ready, I only wonder what the chinese will bring now after wasting a burrowing flesheap on the last assault." Aberga mentioned as he glanced over to the recently filled hole. "I don't suppose that there is some form of seismograph found here and on hand?" he asked, wanting a warning system for underground threats.

cain shakes his head.

 

"I have no idea...YOu may want to talk to the ancient ass ghoul inside...He could help."

"...And how long did you have this facility under your control?" Aberga sighed. "I'll speak with this ghoul, and see what else he knows about this place. Might as well not try to leave empty handed if we can." He reasoned to both cain and Krieg before setting out back to the facility, confident anything short of the enemy attacking would go smoothly without his presence.

as you leave you hear cain say something that disturbs you.

Krieg looks at the errant commander startled but says nothing.

 

 

You go into the facility and find the ancient ghoul tending to a large machine, he runs long fingers over the metal surface and immediately stiffens.

 

 

"yes.....Abberation how can i help you.?"

"Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black." Aberga said under his breath. "You must be the ghoul Cain mentioned." Aberga said as he eyed both the ghoul and the machine it was caressing. "I'm told you have better knowledge of this facility, is there anything of use that I should know about before it gets abandoned to the chinese? Or any seismographic devices at the very least.

the ghoul looks sidelong at him.

 

 

"Besides the medicine.......And the metal this place is nothing anymore......"

 

He turns back and touches the machine intently.

"you have to be careful....your core is fading...Why not eat some of the nickel in this machine..it should hold you over until you find some urnanium or plutonium.

"Just how much in the way of medical supplies are we talking about?" he asked now, more intent on the obvious asset then the offer the ghoul had made about the metal.

"ENough to run a hiospital for an entire year."

 

He says simply, watching the large lizard carefully

"I hope you mean a hospital that has full admittance 24/7 with the kind of operations we will be carrying out..." Aberga thought a loud as he passively looked over the machinery. 'Looks like a furnace of some sort.' he thought to himself. "Show me, sure we have time for now." he said with a wave of a rash ridden claw toward the doorway. "And what's you're story? Abandoned project or something?" he asked it.

he opens his mouth to speak, but you hear the telltale signal of gunfire, and kriegs pained yelp over the din as the older ghoul looks at you calmly.

 

"It seems battle has come here early.....I will reanimate some corpses and have them assist me in removed all necessary materails...But you are needed on the front lines."

"Not a dull moment around these people." Aberga sighed to himself as he put his cap back on. "If any of my soldiers give you gruff, tell them to contanct me personally." he said to Messiah. He turned around and began walking back the way he came to get back outside while opening a channel to Thrask. "Are they attacking us already or is it someone new?" he asked his adoptive father, wanting to know the situation and adapt accordingly.

As you get outside, you can see the fields surrounding the facility are filling with enemy forces. Gunfire is traded, and you can see that burias actually hit somone at range with a rifle he was given. The battle is going well until mortar fire rains on the lines, causing discord and chaos as you see the silencers drawing back.

 

"Abrega!"

 krieg says over the comm.

 

"Damnit godzilla would you answer!"

'Oh this is going to be a great fucking day.' he thought to himself for a quick moment before he answered Krieg. "I read you, get black company out the forward trenches now. I'll have the heavy weapon teams cover them." he said before swiftly changing the channel to his officers. "Destortes, cover the silencers with small arms suppressive fire on the assaulting chinese and someone give me an estimate coordinates on those mortars and take them out with our batteries." he ordered before moving to the front himself, his black mace in tow.

from the forests busts thousands of chinese soldgiers, each brandishing small arms and melle weapons .

 

The silencers shamble behind the lines and take up cover in the treads of the tanks as your teacher can be seen, atop the head tank with his rifle.

 

"Two miles out abrega.........in the mountainline...Six mortar batteries."

 

Smash roars and slaps the ground with his mace.

 

"Bring them down!"

"H-87 Batteries A through C, target those coordinates with H.E. rounds." He ordered them. The high explosives should easily knock out both the mortar tubes and neutralize their crew. "Quadguns, load willy pete and saturated the field and woods with them." He said, wanting to use the incendiary rounds to set the field alight to slow down the wave by making them go through the flames of white phosphorus and burn down the forest to deny the cover. "Let this sad little massacre begin." he said to himself with a grin before letting loose a ray of radiation loose from an outstretched hand to cut a swath into the charging masses.
