Aberga looks at Solgin, then at the the hatch, then back to solgin. He gave what could only be desrcribed as an annoyed mumbling growl before he slumped back into the gunner seat. "You're worse than Thrask sometimes Solgin." he said before he put his eye back into the target scope. The years working with the large bat varghen has given a sense of when he knows something better than he does and to follow it instead of his own warped instincts.

"Abrega......Please tell me thats some kinda illusion by jaciob and i didnt kill a former ho siht commander.."

"You're probably taking down multiple former commanders Krieg, and I don't think they're illusions either." Aberga told him. "What ever the hell this is, tell Jacob to stop now. Solgin tells me if there a spirit here that has beef with someone here, they're going to take that chance to kill them. Just like ol Hefner here." He warned Krieg, wondering if any of his own troops where having to deal with shadows at this point. His concern began to grow as well as his agitating of something like this being used. "Solgin, we're going to have to talk to Cain when the shit stops hitting the fan." he told him.

"Conventional weapons is one thing Solgin, bringing back the dead like something out of a fantasy book and then having them try to kill us is another. Especially when you don't warn anyone on your own side, or seem understand it from the look of things." He said, disagreeing Solgin lumping in the necromancy like display they were seeing with what they done. "And even you kept saying how wrong this was, despite your own practices and your praise for the boy." he remined him as he sent the tank forward to where Krieg should be while still keeping his eye out for threats both chinese and spirit alike now.

jacob begins lowering to the ground and collapses into a heap as krieg limps over to him to pick him up

Aberga gave a dissentive snort. "You're asking me to understand and like magic Solgin. That's not going to happen for a long time." he said as he slowed the tank to a stop near them. He opened the hatch and stood looking at Krieg. "Is the boy ok?" he asked over the sound of the idling engine first since it was at least the pilot thing to do right now.

krieg hands him to stitches who strokes the sleeping boys face.

 

"No...Hes barely awake ..And his body looks like hes ran a triathalon."

 

he hops onto the tank as thrask hops up alongside him.

"That was getting haiory fast..Weve gotta be out of here before they regroup."

"And I rather not want another visit from Hefner either. We should move now while they still keep running out fear of the shadows." Aberga recommended. "We'll need everyone who can still move and lift pack whatever supplies are left at this medical depot and head to a new facility. Krieg, you still think that prison is a good idea?" he asked, refering to the proposed new site of operations Krieg showed him earlier before the battle commenced.

krieg nods and gives the command as solgin looks at the boy.

 

"In one hour he did waht took you and out division days.....He is definitely an asset.."

"And he looks like he's at death door Solgin, I doubt it's something Cain will want us to rely on." Aberga said, noting the boy's condition after the whole ordeal. "Tina, no...just no." He sighed with a shake of his head. "Get a hold of Vraks, tell him we got a new addition I need him to look over." He told her, motioning to the railgun tank he was standing on. "Everyone else, well you know already what we got to do, lets head back to the depot." he said before he stooped back into the tank to drive back and hand it over to Vraks' care for now.

he says as he checks his rifles barrel. "If you think thats the worse of it...YOure lucky his mother didnt arrive.''

 

he points to the thunder crackling overhead.

 

"We ever tell you about her weapon test?"

"And now you're starting..." Aberga grumbled under his breath. "Yes, I have, she was planned to be a deployable weapon at beck and call of a company commander so they ran it through with those who could keep a tight lip. I'm not just focusing on this one incident or what it was, it's everything that can possibly be linked to this just like deploying any other new weapon. The use of it, the protocols, the affect it has your own soldiers morale, or the morale to anyone who decides to join this rebellion. This isn't the first time I had to adapt to something new, you and solgin know that. It's the fact instead of a being a gun, a chemical weapon, or tactic, people just saw a little kid summon nightmares straight out of old war stories and then collapse on the ground. They got saved, and they'll be grateful to him, but having your life saved close to the cost of a child's life isn't exactly great for morale. And guilt like that doesn't go away easily, and just piles on with everything else we'll be doing soon. That's why I want to talk to cain, so he knows that I understand this was needed and that this an emergency only solution. I don't exactly plan on doing to them what my mother did, alright?" Aberga finished.

thrask blows some soot from his weapon.

 

"Oh yes...Go tell the boys father how to handle him....This is going to end so well."

 

He smirks as solgin pats your shoulder.

 

"COme...Lets talk too da woolf."

"Why does everyone want to prod the nuclear bomb?" he growled now as they walked toward cain and Burias, who were just getting out of the woods it looked like. It already felt like it was going to be a long week, and he was just it was only monday.

Cain sends burias away with a firm pat to the back and shoulders his rifle.

he chuckles as he chews on some jerky.

"We're moving everyone and everything to Detroit, Krieg was showing me a prison complex before this mess started." Aberga started, getting that out of the way. "But on a more revealent note......how?" he asked, gesturing to the battlefield in reference to what Jacob did.

"Oh..YOu mean the story jacob just weaved...Im sure thrask can tell you."

 

Thrask shakes his head as solgin comes closer.

cain sighs and flips a cigarette into his mouth.

 

"Jacob is a very ..Odd case. Hes a psionic. But he isnt a psionic that most people have seen."

 

SOlgin nods and his wings twich.

cain shrugs and exhales a long plume of smoke.

 

"Possibly..Im not a doctor. Ive heard of it before but only just recently saw it when we sacked a station."
