"As usual then." Aberga sighed at the news. "So how does you or Jacob even know what to do when he uses it? I doubt the kid was give a formal training session in using dead men as puppets." Aberga asked now, trying to figure out as much as possible about what Cain's son is. Like any other weapon in an arsenal, it would pay to know every limitation and function of what was being used, even if it was someone using a mutagen.

Or are we  conveniently forgetting that because he promised something to you or for an easy jab at me?" he asked him as a retort, holding his temper for now. 'Now would probably not be the time to explain the why to him.' he thought to himself. "Or have I just defected my entire company and put Treason charges on all of my troopers just to hear you complain about what my mother did and not what I've done?" he said in a caustic tone.

cains eyes narrow and his hand visibly begins to tense before solgin stands between the two of them.

he rounds on cain and for once, the silencer commanders face visibly falters a bit, still unused to the terrible visage of solgin.

 

"and you..Da only reason we be here is because of abregas momma...We dint leave our cushy jobs to help some renegade commanda with rebel complex."

 

he motions for a few silencers to get some drinks.

Aberga snort and shook his head after the hit on his snout, one of the few spots still having sensitive nerves that solgin of course knew of. As solgin had said, He held out a clawed and had a scolded look to him. "...I was more concerned about the likelihood of the boy getting hurt when I tried starting this conversation." He said in a more even voice, as if showing an indirect apology.

Cain sighs as he takes the outstretched claw, covering his hand in a cover of metal so it doesnt hurt him.

solgin smiles as tina can be seen, hassling silencers into carrying supplies.

 

"What did bring you here? I was under the beleif noctourne wanted me dead."

"She wants all of you to stay alive, and she doesn't trust Augustus but that goes without saying." Aberga shrugged. "Despite.....everything, and I mean everything, she still sees you all as family. Even Burias over there....getting molested by a Tyrannosaurus Rex?" Aberga said, losing his train of thought due to the scene he was seeing. He shook his head "Look, I'm not looking or hoping you forgive her, in fact I'll understand that you'll still want to kill her. She should me the footage herself, thought she was doing humanity good even while regretting it." he finished, letting it all sink in first and see how Cain would react to it.

angry thunderboltws lash the skies and strike the eath, hurling tanks and men aside with savage power , and a single figure stands amid the wreckage.

 

Solgin falls to his knees and begins tio pray, terror making his wings shiver as krieg yelps and runs to the figure.

Seeing his soldiers getting blindsided in such a manner finally broke what little composure the ghoulish commander had. "WHAT. THE. FUCK!" Aberga practically roared as his skin flashed neon green as his patience finally evaporated. He marched up to ground zero, forgetting about Solgin or how the rest reacted to her appearence for he want to hold her accountable for how many of his people were killed.

all around her are the silencers , criouching and smoking as you see that even cain is panting, a horrible smell of ozone filling the air.

jessica whispers gently to jacob, who looks from cain to her nervously.

His temper went down a fraction as he saw troopers were still  alive and not crippled. "Just what the fuck is your malfuction?" Aberga said as he stood a good distance, not making Cain's mistake as he saw the silencer writhe on the ground but Aberga was still closer than everyone else it seemed. She's not the only living weapon around.

Jessica says cooly, her attention brought to burias as he inplores her.

"Funny you say that when that's exactly what you're making your son do." he said with a humourless smirk. "You had to lock down cain with a small thunderstorm before you even spoke with your son. You're really going to take your husband's son away from him, for a second time, after all he went through to save the boy from whatever was planned from him? You really want to cripple the man don't you? Not to mention seeing his parents like this is going to do the boy any favors in the long run." Aberga said after Burias spoke

jessica says nothing than her arm shoots up, and a crack of lightninght strikes abrega with impossible strnegth, hurling him into a tank.

she visibly readies another attack, but stops at buriases imploring words.

"Like you're one to talk right?" Aberga grunted after beign attached to one of the python tanks, getting tired of everyone acting like their own hands weren't red from their own acts. Aberga began straining every muscle he could, not to free himself, but to rip out the plate magnetized to him from their bolted frames with raw brute force.

She says as she listwens to burias and tells him something before looking back to abrega.

 

"YOu always talked too much....But that was one of the best things aobut you."

 

Her lightning strikes again and the power leaves the air, letting everyone finally breathe as you are let off the hull

Aberga fell forward from his own efforts of trying to set himself free, falling face first into the mud with his arms sinking in deep from trying to catch himself. Pulling himself up and out as best he could, and grumbling and growling the whole time, the commander stood up toe brush off as much mud as possible from his uniform. "How the hell Thaes was good friends with you is beyond my belief sometimes." He mumbled to himself as he readjusted his cap. "Solgin! Are you still praying?!" he said to the varghen. "Get a medic for cain."

cain is already standing, a long off stare in his eyes as vorboten and silncers get close.

 

"Im fine..." He says like a slightly broken reed.

"Get everything ready and when augustus gets here...Just send him to the main office."

 

Solgin comes over with a medic in time to see cain go.

"No.....just really driven." Aberga said as he watched him and Burias go. He hoped no one else picked up how Cain sounded when he spoke, the man maybe walking and talking after just taking a constant shock from lightening but that didn't mean he wasn't hurt by it. "....Solgin, help Lieutenant Valentine get the troopers ready. I think we have a long road ahead of us." he told him as he looked at the battlefield that still smoked after the recent action, wondering now what sort of battles their future had for them now.
