So as some of you know I have a two year old boy which I only found out about at, shall we say, an bad time. He was taken into care due to the fact that I was not able to be there for him and I have been fighting legal battles since. Well I at long last have some amazingly good news.
Two weeks ago I got to see him for the first time and am going to see him later today aswell. A couple of you on here have seen a picture that was taken of me and him that I shall always be keeping in my wallet and close to my heart.
These things are not always straight forward but luckily the carers he was put with had kept showing him pictures of me and telling him who I was so he knew when we finally met. I must say that being a parent as I now consider myself, has filled me with a strange mix of terror and happiness like I have never before experienced.
Anyway so that's that for now. The more I visit and stick to the strict rules layed down by the social services I will be able to see him more frequently until I am allowed to have my boy for good.
As for my new job, believe it or not after months of unemployment I have managed to get a job as a Prison Officer working at H.M.P Doncaster. (Doncaster Prison). I get my uniform and start work on Wednesday.
