Seriously, I don't know how I did that. Really. I had more kills than the ADC by the end. I wasn't even doing anything... I don't know.
Well if you're on an AP heavy team the enemy will naturally stack magic resistance. If your ADC was loosing lane they'll generally not bother with armour until it's too late. Going AD on an AP character can be a great way to duck out your enemy.

Fair call, there are some terrible ADCs out there, and then there are the ADCs having a bad day; either way blood must be spilt

If its anything like DOTA, most ADC players are terrible anyway because they resort to a character who right-clicks to win.
How could my Chaos Space Marine possibly be this cute?

Not all ADCs work like that, some are very situational.
Take Twitch for example, he has the fastest base attack speed in the game and among the lowest health.
You are not tough enough nor possessing high enough damage to click to win. It's all about timing, angles of attack and teamwork (more your team groups the enemy the more you can hit)
There are some "Press R To Delete" characters, like AP Lux and her super beam of doom >>

Yeah, ADCs generally aren't tanky enough to just click to win. they need their team soaking for them generally in order to get shit done. I play Varus because he's got great poke for laning, a good secondary passive in his W (and hell, a good passive anyhow), which provides stacks for burst damage, a stun in his ult and a fairly decent wave clear in E, as well as being tougher than a lot of other ADCs, without needing the positioning tricks of Draaaaaven.
Having said that, Cait's another favourite of mine. Poke, check. Good escape, mini wards, and dat ult... heh, dat ult. Love it. Cait lets you make fun plays. Varus is consistent. Cait doesn't have the durability Varus does though. Bottom line, neither are click to win. Play with your team or don't play at all.

Jinx is pretty cool, can't complain about her skill set.
I started League with Ashe like a lot of people, back when you got a free champ for completing the tutorial (out of Garen, Ryze and Ashe). The only problem with Ashe and Varus is that they have no escapes, so you need a bodyguard. Split push and you're probably boned.
And Talon... dear God do I hate Talon. So much. The only way to deal with him mid is building armour, which means Seeker's armguard. No one builds Seeker's early game, no one. So that wastes time and gold I could be spending on something useful, like a Gunblade.
Bloody AD mid assassins...

Pretty much anyone that can dodge his burst or stack armour really. Kayle would work, as would most aggressive tanks to be fair. Bring dem purps yo.

If you get on top of Talon it's all good, if you're beneath him then it sucks.
Same applies to Jinx, Cait, Lucian and Varus in bottom lane - gawd but I hate them

Marksman and Mage does not mean ADC or AP. They describe a playstyle of each. Twitch is an ADC, suggested to queue as a Marksman but he is also an Assassin. Team Builder attracts ranked players more than normal btw, better games to be hand in normal blind pick

I dont know about you guys, but who needs to Click to kill when you have a AP powered Heirmadinger. With 500+ AP at mid game, aint no one passing through my death triangle.
Honestly though I have no Idea about what any of you are saying. I just wanted to show off.
