Basically the team rebuilding Warhammer Online have now got a permanent sever. Empire and Chaos zones are working. Been fun running around as a Dark Elf again

Well I can't run Civ5 that well but I might look into Reckoning anyway. If I can't run it never mind but if I can then I'll probably have hours of fun =)

 

I also forgot to ask is this a one time payment or is it pay per month?

EA shut Mythic down. This is a recompile of the official game data by fans, authorized by GW as long as they never charge for it. 

 

You need to download the latest client via torrents, then add their launcher program. This lets you override the game when it tries to connect to Mythic.

 

If a few of us want to play what faction do you want to be? I made a Dark Elf but would swap to Order if you lot would prefer to play High Elves/Empire/Dwarves. Be cool if we can get a squad together so we can do dungeons and shit down the line.

I'd be more than happy to get another game to play. Also Utorrent would be more than happy to be used again since I don't think I've downloaded using torrents anything since the Government blocked Piratebay... =P

I would probably try out different races. Only real Warhammer Fantasy races I ever did some research on was Elves as I chose to be an Elven Ranger in Othrim's RP.

Alright we'll make Order the faction for GWRS. Once we have 6 people we can make a guild and arrange dates with death.

 

Note: There's only one server and you can play both factions at the same time, though there is an 8 hour timer between logging off one character and logging onto another on the opposite faction; this prevents espionage to a degree

 

We'll need a Healer (HE Archmage, DW Runepriest, or Warrior Priest) and a tank (DW Iron Warrior thing, HE Sword Master or Knight of The Blazing Sun). If anyone intends to be one of those shout it out. I can play Tank and Healer well so i'll fill the missing role.

 

I'll post instructions on installing later tonight

I have no idea what to play so possibly a versatile class would be best for me. I'll start downloading it tomorrow =)

Fuck it I'm going Witch Hunter. Stealth PVP is hilarious in this game and I've done the Tank/Healer PVP stint already

 

I can always tutor tanks if need be.

Well I could probably go whatever is recommended and knowing me I'll probably ask before I level up stuff or upgrade to make sure I don't get something completely useless =P

Note: Some quests don't work properly, and some skills dont work either. Not all classes 'mana' works (each class has their own spell resource unique to that class)

Dwarf slayer is a class yeah. You can even have the Snorri look
