To be just, our law must be cruel.
To stand upon the bedrock of law is our great duty. To presume to stand above it is our worst heresy.
We determine the guilty. We decide the punishment.

Uni is easily the most liberating thing you'll do. Seriously, if you're living away from home you'll never want to go back.

I was talking about living on Campus. Besides, Milliband won't be elected in the next three months.

Well why did Scotland join the with England? They had a failure at expanding through Colonization then England offered them the chance to join in a partnership which would allow the Scottish to use English colonies so they could still expand and payed for a bankrupt Scotland's debts. So we basically bribed Scotland and England began a trade embargo on Scotland not allowing them to trade with England or her Colonies which massively cut Scotland's income at that time.
When King James VI had both crowns and joined them together did we actually become united and then had the largest free trade within the world at that point.
And if you want me to be patriotic I could be very patriotic possibly reaching Fuzzy's or Iron's patriotism, well before Fuzzy and Iron turn into Super Patriots...

All I know is that I come here for the camaraderie and spirit of #GothicWars.
And the dick jokes. Especially the dick jokes.
We've all heard enough speeches about higher causes by now.

Ok, let's be clear here. Very few people in this thread want to discuss politics. If you want to, you're free to do so, but make another thread for it.

Scotland formed the UK sure with England etc but if anything, Scotland surpassed England in terms of achievement.
Seriously? England was the first and only single country in the British Isles to have a professional army, fought some of the biggest wars during the Medieval period such as conquering large portions of France including Paris and having one of our kings crowned King of France, colonised multiple areas around England, they have Al Murray, put fear into the hearts of French nobles with their low born peasants after the massacres that the French armies suffered solely because of Longbow men.
To be honest anything that happened during the time when we were the British not singular nations doesn't really count as we did them united for hundreds of years not alone. Scotland alone did very little except for holding of the Romans to an extent but that was more Rome didn't want to take Scotland as they didn't see much worth taking as England was taken just because it was there and Caesar proved he could take it and from time to time Scotland managed to beat England such as Sterling but they a highly outnumbered by English victories.
Seriously I don't judge an act that a Scottish inventor or English inventor does as English or Scottish I see it as British, if I wanted to do that I would eventually revert to Tribal groups, he isn't an English inventor he's a Lincolnish inventor...
Fuzzy we did have a nice debate some time back about punishment and stuff.

We could go back to debating all the horrible things we'd like to do to politicians?
It's Fallen's thread so he gets to pick the level of demented it displays
