 As the lay in your room the darkness envelops your senses dull, soon a knocking is heard at your door as voice soon comes after it

 

"Hey Zed we going to began the operation soon so were going to need you on deck" as the voice soon went silent

"Alright Alright. Give me like, five minutes." He mumbled loudly at the door from his bed as he scratched his short cropped black hair. 'I was promised sleep before this started, this is bullshit.' he thought to himself as he shifted towards the edge of the bed. Sipping his feet into his combat boot and grabbing his fatigue jacket off the desk covered in random trinkets, he went to the doors to leave. "Hope it means payday is not far behind." He said to himself.

As the door opened you were greeted by man standing as he seemed to be waiting for you

 

"come on we got to get ready for the big raid" as his voice soon hit your ears once again you seem to remember that it was old friend Rick or more like bothersome person that he was for you all your life

[Armoured Priest]

"I'm awake aren't I?" He asked Rick. "I swear, I'll just give you my share if that stop you from waking me up so often." he laughed. "Come on, lets go. Doubt everybody else is going to wait for our sorry hides." he said as he started heading down the corridor which was already busy with hectic activity.

"Well it can't be helped I mean Selena and Nate sent me here to get you" as Rick started walking down the hallway towards the what seemed to be the loading bay for the ship

 

"I mean once all four of us get enough money with these guys we can get our own ship and be our own Privateer's" as Rick then went silent as he approached what seemed to be an evaluator

[Armoured Priest]

"Yea, that be nice." Zed said, a grin growing across his face. "It's nice that everyone else is too busy fighting each other and just sort of 'leave' their stuff lying around. I mean someone's gotta pick it up, right?" he laughed. "How the Selena and Nate today anyways?" He asked. He knew they were probably fine, maybe a little jitter here and there but that's normal for this line of work.

Rick leans back on one of the walls of the elevator as you could feel it start moving

 

"well Nate is working on what few suits this crew has and Selena is probably getting our equipment ready for us when we have to break into whatever Vessel were being sent up against" as Rick then went silent for a moment

 

"you know before we joined up with this crew it seemed like they get into a lot of heavy fights" Rick murmured out-loud to himself as he seemed in thought

[Armoured Priest]

"I take it you're trying to 'subtly' hint at something there Rick?" He asked, standing straight up in his usual rigid posture. Can take the man out of the military, but can't take the military out of the man. "Or are we just bored today?"

Rick looks embarrassed for a moment as he then collects himself

 

"Well yea sorry I mean this always comes back damage and more then half their crew lost" as Rick then sighed

 

"I mean what kind of prizes are they going after if there this desperate...maybe a big prize" as Rick then went silent

[Armoured Priest]

"Just remember what I tell you three. If you can send someone else to go ahead, let them." he said to him. "We all want our pay, but no point in it if you ain't alive to claim it later." He said. "And what these guys are doing, I don't know. Either they tire to bite off more then they can chew, or maybe everyone is getting ready for another round of shit on everything." He shrugged.

"yea" as Rick murmured out soon fell into silence once again as he seemed to be in thought when you feel the elevator soon come to a halt and the door's open bring you to the hanger bay of the ship even from your view you could see a lot of movement  going on at least 3 different mobile suits standing on deck being worked on

[Armoured Priest]

"Is this it?" He asked rick, nodding over to the mobile suits being worked on. He could have swore there were a lot more before he went to sleep. He motioned Rick to go ahead and lead them to the other two, he would have only gotten himself lost in the crowd trying to look for them.

As you look at the mobile suits they were only 4 of them left

"Pretty aren't they" said Rick as he stood next to you as he then pointed out

 

"and even right where those old Zek's have there emblem now have the great skull and Crossbones" as he seemed to be smiling towards the symbol

"Call me a sucker for the classics then, I like the way the those old Zaku's looked compared to these Doms." He admitted to him. Then he grinned. "I heard there's a variant called a Rick Dom." he laughed a little. "Still, heard they can carry some serious heat." He added.

Rick gives you a weird look

 

"um Zed these are Rickdoms I don't think the crew of this ship is smart enough to have units for both ground and space battles" as Rick chuckled silently as he leaned on the rail look at the suits

 

"I think Nate is down there working with the ships mechanics and Selena is probably over there with a group of new guys like ourselves" as Rick pointed to where they both would be

"You know what I mean, not all of them are officially designated as Rick doms you smart ass." he shook his head. "Try to give you a compliment and you have to throw it in the trash." he said with a grin before egging him to move on towards the group to go ahead and meet up with Selena at least.

Rick grinned sheepishly as he followed you

 

"yea well you know getting compliments is not something I'm use to everyday" as he then let out a sigh as you soon here a woman barking out orders

 

"Come on you lot we have to be ready by the next raid or we'll end dead in space like the rest of dogs who don't make it" as her voice was ruff with the group of man she was commanding

 

"Scary huh" as you heard from Rick

 

"She was the only that they thought from our group that had a chance from commanding troops" as Rick continued following you towards her

[Armoured Priest]

"Not so much scary as....actually that's not appropriate for public conversation." He shook his head with a small smile. "And honestly, I know I wouldn't be a good choice for that." He admitted as they joined the group now. "Let's do our usual thing and try out best to support her guiding the herd of cats, know what I mean?" he asked rick.

Selena barks out a few more drills to her men as she turns to see both of you coming down towards her

 

"Well look who it is Zed and slacker coming to see my work" as she seemed happy to see both of you despite her demeanor before

 

"Hey I'm not a slacker"

 

"yes you are Rick now other then you doing nothing like usually how have you been Zed" as Selena then focused her attention at you

"Oh I'm doing good now actually." he said to her. He always enjoyed talking with the three of them, especially with selena. "Honestly I came done here to see how you three were doing and if you have any news for what's coming up." he ask her, hoping to be filled in a little better now.
