So over Xmas, I managed to pick up Civ 5, thanks to the blessings of All mighty Gaben, and was wondering, if anyone wanted to play a match or two with me. I dont really mind how many people we have, I just want to play a few hours worth.

 

For the record I only have Vanilla, no Expansions sadly, but that cant be too much of a problem. So If you want to destory each other, or make allies, just say so, because I dont even mind playing.

No idea to be honest. Just trying to see how many people want to play before I give out a time. It would be preferable on a day where the majority of us have free time, and can play a good match.

But that's lovely. That makes three of us. Which is decent. As long as we don't all set fire to each-other before 500 BC.....

Not to worry Cru, we might as well wait a while until we have enough people to actually pull something off. No issue with us having a few casual games. 

 

If you are joining in Cru, that makes about 5 of us, which shouldnt be so bad.

Thats pretty cool. But remember, we wont be playing the DLC, due to the fact that I have none but Polynesia.....

Personally I prefer to use random nations, it enhances the experience because you may have to use a nation you are not used to

We will only play with brave new world and God's and Kings (?). We don't use the small race DLC as everyone would have to buy them

Fair Enough. Like I said, we wont have to worry about using the DLC anyway.

 

I think I may use Persia, or maybe the Songhai, depending on how I want to win.
