As the title says, I'm curious as to what non 40k games you're all looking forward to the most.

I personally can't wait for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The trailers look amazing, the gameplay videos all look amazing, all the DLC (16 pieces) will be free on all consoles because the devs don't believe in making you pay for additional content.

The only games I'm paying attention to are:

Star Wars: Battlefront 

World of Warships.

But, I'm not excited about anything. I'm quite a bit Jaded after the last two years of fail and broken expectations.

Yeah it's in the Battlefield Hardline engine and made by DICE. Someone else (not main DICE studio) is making Hardline

My faith in anything made similarly to Battlefield has me fearful. I still have flashbacks to BF4's horrid game breaking moments... Someone destroyed the tower in the middle of Operation Locker now everything that hits the middle will cause horrid lag for everyone, awesome...

 

If a new game is coming out shortly and people are talking about it then I might take a look into it but other than that I'm hiding away from the land of false hopes.

I didn't pick up BF4 at launch on purpose, however I will probably pre-order Battlefront as it represents the latest in one of my favorite game series to date. I don't play the Xbox often so can afford to have a game that doesn't work all the time (cough Halo MCC)

Well most people thought that from the Beta most issues would have been fixed like the RPGs being able to lock onto Helicopters when they've been painted by PLDs... That was fixed but still so many other issues and balancing issues were often found it was pointless playing against or with something like the Stealth Jets or playing against the incredible one shotting Ace 52 CQB...

 

Battlefront I will probably look into eventually if I'm looking to get my hopes up it will be for a game which is supposedly a descendant of a game I spent hours and hours playing. Best have a Galactic conquest game like the others...

Not really looking forward to much, like A10 said I am pretty miffed with supposed AAA titles and what they promise to deliver.

Broke my PS2 out the loft the other day, Ace Combat here I come followed by FF7 and FF8.

No PC I am afraid Cruz, had to sell it years back to settle some debt, had to give up Warhammer age of reckoning as well, loved that game even with all the flaws.

I was excited for evolve, till the whole DLC ENGINE was released. The amount of DLC the game has is ridiculous. I flat out refuse to get a game that has that much content locked away under DLC when I'm already paying 60 dollars for it.

Yeah that seems to be the norm nowadays, some DLC is ok I can see why but others where it usually becomes a pay to win style of game EG buy DLC and get newer weapons which haven't been balanced as much (LOOKING AT YOU FAMAS FROM BF3!) but some I don't mind DLC when it is just for a single player RPG like Skyrim's DLCs which personally all except for Hearthfire added in a nice amount of new content to fool around with like the Vampire/Werewolf perk trees, Solstheim to explore, killing a Legendary Dragon and other fun stuff. Did have its down sides like Dragon Riding was nothing like it was wanted. =/

 

I personally have no interest in Evolve and heard some badish stuff from a few mates about it so that put me off it that little bit more.
