[Thugren]

The crusade seems to have secured the beachead, but there are casualties. Mostly the unarmored shock Tripp’s the church had used, no crusaders seem to have fallen though.

“ ah..... good good.”

Anita says with a smile as he pulls one of his bayoneted out of a corpse and reassimilates it.

“ we should go find your friend.... the one with the pig steel sword.”

Alexander pause's for a moment upon hearing those words as he then turns to look at Anita and then asks the first thing that pop into head

 

"I'm sorry what did you say he was using" as Alexander had never heard of these words used to describe a weapon before until now and waited for either to Anita to speak or to lead the way in the search

He taps his bayonettes with a smirk.

 

"Is it Just old bad habits showing its head.... excuse me."

Alexander let out a sigh but waved Anita off

 

"Do not worry about that but don't let Soma or others hear you lest you getting in fights with locals or others who find the weapon pleasing to look at Anita" as Alexander the lifted his blade over his shoulder and then began the search for his comrade in war Soma

The excocist leads yuou to the battlefield , and you see that the templars have made a beachead .

 

they are setting up tents and moving bodies, and in the centere you see soman and the other commanders making plans

Alexander takes a moment to look at the the bodies the Templar are getting rid of and giving rights to as he then makes a silent sign of the cross over himself and begins to over once again to the table that had Soma talking with the other commanders as he then said

 

"So what is the situation" as Alexander waited for someone to start filling him in

a commander turns and looks at him.

 

"The attacks are costing us....they have an emplacement that has a perfect view of the battlefield...we break ridgline and out men die in droves to concentrated sniper fire."

 

the commander sighs a bit.

 

"I need to send a commando unit."

Alexander knowing what the commander wanted of him sighed

 

"If you wished for myself and the unit that I'm apart of to charge the enemy line you could have been direct with me" as Alexander spoke to the commander

the commander smiles ans he points to kamui who stands with a templar line called the ridgbbreakers.

 

"go on then......... We will await your victory."

 

Kamui grabs a helmet and holds it in his arm, looking at you with a smile

Alexander could only nodded and move to Ridgebreakers that were in line

 

"Ridge breaker's to me" as Alexander lifted his blade high and spoke once more

 

"Today we will break the enemy line and show them the might of church itself" as he turned to the battlefield and motioned the men to charge the line

soma comes over and chuckles, checking his armors systems.

 

"YOu are always so showy and unnecessary."
 

he shoulders his blade and points to a ridge.

 

"I have some scouts going ahead...Lets go."

Alexander stood in silence before he raised his sword high into the air and pointing to the ridge, as he  then broke out into a sprint charging forward to it with caring for the danger the could have been presented to him or the men behind him

the men move with purpose, but their advance is hallted suddenyl at the ridgeline..

 

 

deeep trenches have been dug, and you can see more than one over eager crusader has fallen in and met a grisly death on the stakes.

 

"So....Thats why the rrouting fdidnt happen..."

Alexander only looked down the Ridge line to his right and then his left

 

"Then we'll follow the line until we can find a point where we can cross and face our enemy in combat Soma" as Alexander started to move

 

" we might be able to surprise them if we do"

going and grabbing some bodies the templar begins tossing them into the pit, making a makeshift bridge.

 

"no time...... If we dont move fast, these fanatics will start unleashing horrors.... Like those siege beasts on the populace."
 

the commander seems bothered by something, so much so that he drops his prized sword and even curses.

 

"on of a fucking..."

 

he mutters, snatching it up.

 

"dont have time for this.."

"These trenches are set to impede us the time and probably dug to hell itself" as he looked to the commander and motioned to the trench

 

"The time that we waste making a makeshift bridge will take just as long finding a way around and crossing at a different point considering on how deep they made the trench" as he then turned back to looking forward

 

"make the decision on what we do but god's wrath and judgment will fall upon these cultist no matter the time we take"

soma seems to steady himself with a breath and sighs.

 

'youre right...YOure right alexander.... Lets drag that huge ogre beast here...between you and me we should be able to do it...Well use its god forsaken bulk..What do you say?"

 

he smiles and motions dfown the road.

 

'mnaybe at camp we can share a drink."

"Let us save the talk of drinks until after we kill these heretics" as Alexander could only chuckle but moved to the nearest Orge Beast and motioned to Soma

 

"Come on men we don't have all day help with these creature so our crusade can continue"

The two crusaders drag the bulk and toss it in. Using it they are able to cross and their small force comes upon an enemy camp.


Obviously some sort of scouting unit, it has trucks and what appears to be some kind of hound that sleeps in cages.

“Should we have the ridge breakers swarm out or should we take them quiet...”

Soma asks with a sigh.
“ there could be more....”
