Go away JC and leave me to my vanilla game!

Oh look a huge patch which fixes every known bug and is till being reguarly updated to be compatiable with other famous mods over there... Ooh a mod that let's me use 4 gB of ram here... Ah a nice mod replacing all the original clunky animations with well made re done versions... Restructured better looking faces... Better and more realistic lighting... Visible player body in first person... Improved textures to terrain, weapons, blood, cities, flora, furniture and clutter, creatures and monsters, fire and explosions, books, drinks, bullet impacts, pip boy map, armours and clothes, robots... Should I go on?

Ooo look a virus, ooo look another virus, oooo look lot's of viruses!

Mods are sometimes great, and at other times their presence diminishes the game. I think a great example of this is World of Warcraft, mods ruined entire chunks of that game and for a large part replaced skill and knowledge - who needs to memorise fights (vanilla raids anyone?) now we have deadly boss mods. Then there are things like the Warhammer Online where the graphics update mod rejuvenates an old classic.

There is no such thing as PC master race, nor console master race. Some games are better on PC, some are better on Console, anyone who disagrees is a delusional fanboy. The only point PC gets that Console can't hope to beat is the presence of the Steam Summer Sale - that shit is godly

Warhammer online I used quite a few addons, Aura to make an icon of a skill pop up on the screen when it was off CD, and the Pvp tracker.

Yeah but they also ruined WAR. For example the most novel spell in that game was GORK SAYS STOP! and someone made an addon that detected it being cast on you and went off like an air raid siren. For those who didn't play, that spell did exponentially ramping damage as you moved - a natural response to taking damage is to run, and running in this case means death

haha I loved that spell, when I was on a Destro guild on Karak Norn we had loads of Shammys and all you would hear on vent was keep him running.

But I agree some addons were retarded, nerf buttons was another example, and auto assist!!

Most of mine where cosmetic things like the blood effect one, the pvp tracker, the one I used for CD was due to the fact I struggled with the UI on WHO.

Super Bolter ftw

I was a raid healing Disciple of Khaine, so I used Squared because the default raid frames took up more real estate that a luxury mansion. I quit the game in rage after they nerfed Destro into the ground (was a well known fact on official forums most of the balance team played Order), because in a PVP game when one Warrior Priest with top tier (PVP) gear can take on 15 assorted Destro players all with medium tier gear you know there's an issue. Still, even with that I had the most fun of any MMO ever and sorely miss it.
