With the recent updates for this game it has given the ability to actually get the whole team on as a oner, and have games against other teams. To which I propose we should get something together.

I know that renting a server does cost money (MS points) but if it was taken in turns it's not to much of a bother.

I rented one today to see what it was all about, it was miss sold a little bit. Stating "that you control all aspects of the server" well this was bollocks. I tried to create an air warfare only theme, wishing to have the only vehicles on being planes, helicopters (of all varietys) but this wasn't available.

I digress a little, back to original idea of getting GWRS on for a good smashing at some point.

Thoughts?

We're going to be able to do this ourselves, permanently after Dark Millennium comes out hopefully.

I have hurd some bad things about the new update such as the morter for some people no longer works. anyone seen this?

The set up for the servers for the 360 is done through the menus when you load up, by the way it's a hefty download (1.2Gb if I remember correctly) the prices start from 120MS points for a 24 hr period which can go up depending how long you rent a server for.

As for the mortar messing up haven't tried yet but will give it a go and report back.
Th biggest issue I have at the moment is that every time I load up the game after the box has been off, I need to re-set all of my load outs. When choosing the save device it always says "data corrupt" which is slightly annoying. I was kind of hoping that by the update it would have sorted it out but no it didn't. Anyone else have this drama or know a fix or work around?

We can't host those until we get our own server machine, but thanks for the find. Very interesting!

We don't need a server machine for the 360 it's done there side as far as I'm aware and you just rent it for a set period. I rented on and it worked fine, didn't take long to fill either, had a good crack.
