[POLL] Admin Approval For Registration

So we have a ton of spammers signing up to the forums within the last five days. All of a sudden we seem to be the Las Vegas for spam bots (when compared to last week).
The easiest solution to this would be to require admin approval for registrations.
Since we have 3 Admins applications could be processed reasonably quickly. So vote if you agree we should implement this, or vote if you think we (the admins) should just suck it up and keep deleting the bastards!

what exactly would option one entail for newcomers may i ask
Basically you register but cannot login until an Admin ticks the approval box. This won't actually be implemented unless they actively start spamming btw. I'm just laying groundwork so we can act quick if it escalates

Not having a spammer website attached would probably work in your favor

Don't they have to login to add that info to their profile first though? If not then yeah this seems like a good idea.

I often find the names they use to be a giveaway. Is there a questionnaire they have to fill in? like a form? We could find out more info about them ie games, interests ect. Spammers will be less inclined to go through it. Potential members will see we are actually interested in them.
Questionnaires we could do later. Zero has a good point about profile information, we might have to make it moderate first post like most other forums
