I just read a thread on best book. it got the geears to grinding. I have read all of the gaunts ghost novles, and proudly own the last three in hard back. when i read them i can hardly put them down. so which is your favorite omnibus? (i cant do all the books thats a big list)
now as the poster of this thread i wont weigh in but i will say this. as he has written more novles he has only gotten better. but my favorite is the lost. it has the book Only in Death.

favorite omnibus? is a hard question but the Grey Knights omnibus would be my choice with many close seconds.

The Saint was a selection of great stories, they hadn't yet killed off some of the main characters; and they had finished developing the main characters to what they remained for the rest of the series.

As The Lost is the only Gaunt's Ghost book I one I'll have to go for that one. Paths of the Eldar, however is a kick ass series. If you have not read it, you should! Its turned Hardcore Imp Fans from completely hating the Eldar, to actually liking them to an extent. They also dont seem so random as they do in the point of view of Humans do. I dont know if they'er going to make an Omnibus. They may... Sorry I went off topic. I wouldnt it be cool if the Guard had Special Forces Regiments where they completed high value objectives, similar to what Gaunt did on his first tour of Geron, wouldnt it? Hell, I'm going to try and make a BL author.

I truly love all of them and also titanicus and double eagle and loved the follow up short in the sabbat worlds shorts collection I too can't put them down and feel it would be an injustice to single one out I'm still in mourning for some characters who shall remain nameless so those who havnt read these epic works can light there own candles for them as and when

I have only read First and Only. That was the first Black Library book I read.
Great book. Read it at least three times now.

I would love to read the rest.

actually didn't know there was multiple books in the series and started with Only in death which was a great book was not till I went back and read the others that I realized who the psyker at the end was.

yea i did the same. i started with [/i]armor of contempt. When i found out it was a series i started it all over. I really miss Bragg though. He was my favorite.
