I went ahead and bought the vehical shortcuts since I rarely if ever get the chance to pilot one. Cruicias, when we get the gunship it's gonna be fun!

I got the Air Shortcut because I needed Air Radar on the Jet. It was that or spend hours farming with friends. It's amazing what a difference that perk makes.
I already had all the Helo ones, so next time we shall rock!

TV Missile is fucking hard to use, it's better to take laser guided, and have someone designate them for you. So Pilot, Gunner and Sniper working together.
I got 40 kills, 3 deaths in a Helo last night on Kharg Island (Attack, Conquest). Just kept my helo barely off the ground (except when tanks were around) nailing poor sods. I bounce up and down with Left and Right triggers, but also jink side to side. Makes it fucking hard to hit me with SMAWs...
... However you do need to watch out for the other helo, and lamp posts

I use Auto Loader, Flares and Guided Missles. Thermal is useful, but in my experience you usually die to Heat Seekers or hitting buildings your jinking around.
Having 2 sets of Flares is amazing, Heatseekers reload 2x faster than flares, so with the right communication 2 flares negates them. Only an issue if you are being targeted, Air Radar usually negates the risk
