I am really excited for this game! As long as there are regular Chaos Marines and not just Corn Flakes I will be good; but I have just thought of something, do factions really make sense in this game? I mean I know that Eldar have worked with the Imps and the Chaos with Orks; its just no matter what they are enemies and will fight each other.

MMOs need teams. So teams have to exist. Just like how in Warhammer Online Chaos, Orks and Dark Elves worked together, when Orks were notorious for working alone against everyone. It's just a matter of making it fair. By that same token is why Imperials will have Space Marines and Imperial Guardsmen that are equally effective. That's right an Imperial Guardsman will be on par with a Space Marine. Equally Chaos has demons that will be on par as well. So while I am interested in the game, and will give it a shot, one must throw out most preconceived notions to appreciate whatever it is they make.

Most interesting bits of info in that article

* Cross platform is very possible.
* Shooting mechanics will have aim assist
* Similarly, melee attacks will lock on.
* Abilities work similar to Warhammer Online. A common resource, then each class has a unique resource used with abilities.
* The featured chapter is Black Templars. (As evidenced by the banner art)
* The featured chaos god is Khorne, at least for playable

So it's TPS with abilities? I find this very strange in concept.
