the ground begins to rumble, behind him the three coffins push up through the dusty earth, he says nothing as he turns to the coffins

They open without a word, and you can see that they are inffact empty, except the thrid coffin, that holds the remains of cains last son, for a while he just stares at it, unmoving, unspeaking , but without a word he turns and begins to walk back to the house,
