"So you say." He said. He put down the bowl and put his mask and helmet on. "I think I take Charred random over the 'oh god why did I eat that.' entree of your's." he smirked. He stood up and stretched a little.

"Got water here then?" he asked him. Burias was going a rundown throught his equipment to be sure they are all in working order. "Pistol, knife, machete, coat, armor, boots, Looks like everything is good." he said to himself.

"You never know Komarde and yes I do believe we are ready now my dear." He told her. He spun on his heel and waved out of the rv park. "Lead on bruder." he said.

Cain takes point leading you down the path to the rope bridge you bass the dedicated rotting corpse and Cain sighs passing it without a word

Burias kept his silence as they passed the body, knowing cain would probably want to forget about it rather than talk about it. Only the crunch of the ground being tread upon in was heard for a while.

Without saying a word he crosses the rope bridge peering down at the smoldering wreckage of the outpost

"Well with reasoning like that." he started. He flicked a fireball on to the pulpy mass. "Better safe than sorry." he concluded. He caught up with cain and looked at the vista below with them. "Doubt anyone is there now, after being over run." he said as he viewed the silent outpost.

"Like this? No, I hoped that he would come out of that bonding surgery fine. But they seperated me and svet from him afterwards and I haven't heard from him for awhile. Then I heard about the Jack rumours and had a hunch of what happened." he said.

"They told me my operation was a success, but his was a failure and he went wild." He continued. " I know it's silly but somtimes I wonder if I infected him with a bit of my madness along with the side effects that seeker organ." He laughed. "He is good person, doesn't deserve the hell he is going through."

Oblivious to the conversation Cain keeps walking, Los in thought

Burias continued on the path at emily's side giving her the story. He took a breath through his mask and began.

"We were given a mission to kill off a monstrous flesh heap, the largest to date that was wounded by flesh golems of a sanctum." He started. "Months into the deadzone to find it and kill it. We found it, but the damn thing was untouched." he said with a hint of anger. He clenched his free hand into a fist as he continued. "Out of twenty people of our squad, only me, cain, and svet came back. Me and cain were fucked up beyond belief."

"We were carried into the warden's office by hospice officers and commander svet had a chat with that pig of a man, and placed a round through his head. After that cain went out, they told me he was dead officially for close to an hour. We went through an organ bonding so he could be revived." he explained. He involuntary began tracing the scar on his back again as he remembered the process. "But after that, it gets hazy. I remember both of learning something, and then breaking out of the facility. But till I met with cain back at rocky heart, I honestly can't remember much." he said baffelled.

He.....Died for an hour! Burias..."she looks at cain in astonishment, " Cain.....can you please explain something to me? ... i know its hard to talk about... But i want to know, why you where the one chosen for this, not burias"

He looked at her. "Emily, what do you mean?" he asked confused now.

cain stops and turns slowly, " burias wasn't taken for Prometheus final phases because he escaped, his ghoul infusion and organ bonding was done perfectly, where because my front lobe was damaged because of the flesheap biting down on my head. Because my body is now influenced by the damn ghouls urges, i am suceptible to irridium resonance, a high pitched humming that puts preprogrammed missions into my head if im nbot lucid or have a certain dosage of irridium. Since the criteria for buriases surgery was just restoring destroyed organs he left, once they found the implacations of the experiment.... they came up with my new objectives
