Loken is still the best character out of any of the HH series books and possibly my favourite character of all time.

Garro, Loken and Tarvitz (hope I got the name right) and the Iron Warrior from a short story in Age of Darkmess are the guys with the most character. Just going by the books so far I feel Magnus has the most character for a Primarch. And the Legion that universally has the most strength of character would be the Raven Guard. Just basing this on the books from the Horus Heresy nothing else.

I agree that Loken is a great man.Tarrik Torgaddon was awesome I thought. When he walked up on those IG that were trying to forcefully get frisky with the remembrancer, he killed one - bitch slapped the other, and tore off the IGs name badge to report him lol. Then he proceed to show remorce and care for the remembrancer. Now for an astartes that's impressive.

We adore these characters during to their inability to follow the normal and to go against what is expected. They did not follow the EASY way to victory just the most honorable ones. They may have been clever in what they did but never without pride.

Interesting point... His key to victory was to survive. True enough but he is so good at it.

That depends on how you define character. I think he is the most unique character in the entire 40K universe
