Well, if you only read the paperbacks then he's still dead. I believe the story where he's found alive is one of the audio books and as I'm not a fan of them, I had to find out he survived on the main SM forum when he was mentioned in a thread. I'd love for them to release the audio books on paperback, even if it were in some sort of omnibus.

Excellent point. I am a hound for everything spacemarine and the audio books do help with getting my spacemarine fix in while I am driving, also it helps with my blind patients so they do have a purpose. Your point that they should be woven into a book is quite valid.

Hell, I'd put forward Ragnar himself. He's portrayed so amazingly well in the first omnibus, one of the most 'human' Space Marine's I've had the pleasure to read about.
