Is there a way to join the platoon without Battlelog?

just simply be on when we are playing...we generally play on weekends...usually late saturday night for the us and for Crucias in NZ

The platoon lets you see each others gains in the News Feed ingame and have the same tag [GWRS] other than that it's unimportant

besides im pretty sure you can do that clan tag thing on your own without having battlelog

No it's an integratred part of Battlelog

ohh really? did not know that....but the clan tag is not that important really as long as you are on when we are you can still be in the platoon technically

Yeah it's more about the playing.

BTW I tried to fix my NAT so more people could connect to me and failed. So for the interim we will need to use Gunshy shamelessly.

I'll have to buy a new modem in January because the current one is my Flatmates, I'll get one known for good NAT

Any modern router can do open NAT. You just need to forward the right ports.

Well in following your link my type is open as far as XBox is concerned, but I still can't connect to Yapay or Baek, and so I assume probably not Crucias either.

I can connect to you, Othrim, Gunshy, Joker, Siddicus, Gerhart, possibly others. But not to Yapay, Baek, Crucias, and possibly others.

My NAT should be open as I have forwarded the right ports, at the moment the XBOX is a DMZ instead which should have the same effect but still Strict Nat.

It's because I have a two router setup, a modem and a wireless router. I will buy a wireless gateway which will eliminate the issue. My modem model is known for bad NAT

Probably because their nat is too strict.

But all the people on the latter part of the list can connect to the first part. And I just went through and did all the port forwarding and my Xbox no longer tells me my NAT type is anything other than open. So why can I connect to Apulo, Yapay can connect to Apulo, but Yapay and I cannot connect?

I bring this up because more and more it seems to be an issue of requiring intermediary parties to play our games together.
