Yet (Amazingly!) they seem to accomplish more then other Chapters and with less causalities. We do not cower either, if a target presents itself, you can be assured that the Raven Guard would knife it.

Exactly, the Alpha Legion, Raven Guard and Night Lords all do similar things, just for different reasons and different ways.

One moment the two brothers were speaking - the Lion's features cast down in contemplation, Curze's eyes fever-bright as he promised an ignoble fate. The next, Curze's features twisted into a taut rictus of pain, blood running between his clenched teet. The Lion held tight to the grip of his blade, buried to the hilt in his brother's stomach. More than a metre of shining, bloodstained steel thrust from the back of Curze's armor.
"For such a dishonorable blow." The Lion whispered.

M'shen the Calidus Assassin did, he didnt do anything but let her kill him as a message to the Emperor, would of worked if the Legion didnt get mad about her looting Conrad's corpse... Ironic isnt it, the event that made the Legion shatter was them getting angry about somone looting a single corpse, and they become renowned for looting corpses after that...

It didn't spoil anything Arch it's not some secret fight between the Lion and Cruze. Its the last short story in the book. It may be the best one in Age of Darkness, and you know they couldn't kill each other as there's other fluff for them.

I feel ya on being behind, I don't read my books nearly as much now with everything else going on. Need to read outcast dead and know no fear.
