The door slams closed and locks automatically

All arou. You another lab lays in disarray, a freshly dug tunnel can be seen on the other side of the container

In a field of static energy a single stone hangs, it's surface is smoothe orridium and in the center a blood red jewel hangs

"Succor go and retrieve to orridium. While I see what happened here". Hector walks up to a lab table and grips its side, letting the metal speak to him, in his mind the metal whispers...

The voices hit you like a brick wall

The beast is unnatural, a cave insect that fed on the orridium waste and free to incredible proportions, it trapped and hunted the scientists until the last few used the tools they had to burrow their way to freedom


Succor put the geode carefully into a price of cloth tucks it away as you pull your hand away

The tunnel is low but spacious small lanterns light the path and you can feel cool air blowing

Hector puts his finger to his head, "succor is there any way to mask our scent from the beast? I do not think it sees us yet."

Assuming I make the run:
As he runs hector manipulates five spears, finely tipped and razor sharp, he sends them at the beast (1d100 rolled for a total of: 40 (40)) after he sends the spears hector manipulates heavy duty walls, trying to make th distance greater (1d100 rolled for a total of: 9 (9))

you run quickly to the survface and run for a half an hour more


once well away from the shaft succor and callach collapse to the ground breathing hard

Panting hard, hector falls to the ground,sitting he contemplates all he has been through thus far: thrown into a fight he never could imagine, a world of chaos, and his own order may be involved as well, the truth he thought he knew; a lie, his devotion to his art, a tool for corruption. "Enough of this", hector thought to himself. He turns to the group, "let's rest for a little bit then be on our way shall we?"

"This is a tad more than I expected", hector laughed as he drank from the flask, the cool, crisp water touching his dry mouth. "thanks for the water" hector takes his last sip and tosses it back to succor.

Hector stands up as well, "yes lets take this orridium back to irina".

the purifiers move with speed

soon you manage to stumble to the door of irinas home and succor knocks on the door.

"you all took your damn time" irina grunts, taking the geode inbto her hands and droppping it into a tank of blue fluid

"at least your place isnt guarded by a seven foot long centipede with the determination of a honey badger" grunted hector as he sits in a chair, manipulating his metal to take his mind off of things.

Irina sighs and pours you a cup of tea, she sits across from you and slides over a plate of glaxzed scones, " you must be hungry"

she whispers watching the three purifiers

" i have some rooms here.. you can all rest before i send you out for the agents needed to purify this geode

Hector reaches over and grabs the scones, the golden dough hits his mouth, hunger takes over, and he eats heartily. After eating the scone hector drinks his tea, he takes a minute to collect himself "thank you irina, that would be much appreciated, thank you for your kindness."
