From what I understood our sect was the only ones with communications with other sects.. Ever since Anubis sect defected the other sects followed

I can only speak for myself, I wa part of the sobek coven, but the consensus was to let there be a sacrifice . I crow out that we stand on the line with the anubis coven, but they shot me down.

So when Anubis fell and ho siht crushed them they became the figurehead of defiance.. Those purifiers did more than all the other mutant covens combined
