This game is funny as hell, Im glad I brought it, in fact, its one of the first PS3 games I had ever got.

Brutal legend deserved a bigger following than what it got. I dont like the RTS aspect of it though, i thought it took something away from the game. Over all i own it, and dont see me giving it the boot anytime soon.
If you are a fan of heavy metal you owe it to yourself to buy it or at least try it out. alot of tongue and cheek humour.

Im just amazed that there's only one tenacious d reference which is Kyle as the mortar person. Cant believe there's no d songs.

Nah Bro - youre lucky to find anyone that does, it wasnt very popular or good to most people. the single player is a blast, thats the only reason why i keep playing from time to time...

Dude, what are you talking about? There's "The Metal" by Tenacious D on the radio in the car. There may be one other too, but that's the only one I remember at the moment.

Edit: I suppose I should say something more on topic. I have the game but I lent it to a friend. I never finished the single player, though driving around was always a blast.

I have Brutal Legend! Awesome game! Go around with powers to kill Tainted Coil bitches with lighting fire and an axe! I loved the campaign! I have the DLC for it. I love wearing the mountain man threads =P I still wouldn't mind playing it again sometime. I am pretty crap at the game I think.

Still I think that Tainted Coil are my favourite team. After you work up their tech tree they can destroy everything. Drowning Doom's Tree that sends ravens to attack pisses me off though. =P

I loved Brutal Legend, the single player was my dream game. The only things that annoy me with it is the fact that the concept can go even futher (damn it, I wan't a sequel) and the soundtrack wasn't perfect (well, it was almost perfect). Why? Well no Iron Madien, Meshuggah, Opeth or any progressive or tech death band were on the game. If the game is centred on the genre heavy metal, the fact that those aren't in the soundtrack is not only is dissapointment, but disrepectful in my opinion.
