LETS ALL GET FLUFFY!
Remember the heresy brothers. Sanguinus himself was spawn camped and destroyed by his brothers. Would you have us repeat the mistakes of our primarchs!? Are we not warriors of the Emperor, bound by his code of honor? Will we give in to bloodlust and temptations of the ruinous powers? How can we call ourselves marines if we seek to ambush and destroy our brothers simply because "it isn't in the fine print"??? The fine print is in the codex's of our legions. The fine print is in the Leticia Divinicus. The fine print is IN THE CODEX ASTARTES AND I WILL NOT HEAR OF SPACE MARINES TAKING GIANT POOPS ON IT!
I feel better. May the light and whatnot shine on you all brothas.

Generallly the only time players shoot from inside the spawn is when they have had their shit pushed in
lol but that is a general rule there, not 100%. I have seen randos doing that but my gueess is that they are like 10 yrs old Oo
Not true I've seen many a player on my side in public games or on opposition sitting with a las cannon blasting out of a spawn. Typically shattered bridge or Hab centre.

I must have missed the fineprint on the reverse of the cover where it states that it is upto veterans to NOT kick NEW players in the balls."It is NOT upto Veterans to NOT kick NEW players in the balls as soon as they start. Its upto veterans to play the game they paid for in whichever way they want." I half way agree here lol. I did pay $65
for the game, but im not going to play it just run dudes into the ground.
The problem with the argument "I paid for it, I can play however I want" is that it also supports those who would mod it, glitch it and cheat in their gameplay. Obviously those are somewhat different from spawn camping, as Xbox Live has rules against tampering with the system and exploiting glitches, but the point still stands. What's to stop a modder from saying "I paid for the game, I get to play it this way"? We may not all agree on spawn camping, but hopefully we can all agree that cheating is unacceptable.
One more problem with that argument is that it goes both ways. New players bought the game and have a right to play it the way they want as well, and I doubt any of them want to get destroyed. I know of none who wish to lose, only those who hope for victory. The most obvious response to this that I foresee is "then new players should learn how to win", but how, I ask you, will they accomplish that when they are afforded no opportunity to succeed? Also, I have never heard anyone say "Oh, man! I just loved getting spawn camped that game! That was just the best."
I, personally, don't care what I go up against. I've been in several matches in Halo games (Halo PC, Halo 3, Halo Reach) where I was outnumbered and spawn camped while the opposing team controlled all the power weapons, but still I persisted. I don't care what the odds are: four versus one, being low level, not having the best weapons on the map, and even against cheaters (there were many in Halo PC), I'll try to win. I won't quit. But not everyone shares my mentality. Those are the people under consideration here.

Like I said, We don't spawn camp. I apply rules to our game play in the Dark Angels, and WILL follow those rules. Maybe thats why so many randos have decided to join the Dark Angels.
We get new players cause we kick ass!
Not through spawn campin though. Just through sheer force of will!!!

But back to a previous reply, if there are any new players reading this the offer of help is open to anyone. Now where is this thread going next?

And Uri ...I have no desire to EVER find out why your fists are red brother!
Funny though, where is the angel now that I questioned his honor? Can he not defend his comments when faced with the glaring, blinding truth, that spawn camping is unsportsmanlike conduct and thereby unbecoming one of the emperor's chosen warriors? Or am I merely poking a hornets nest in hopes that I will not be crushed by boredom at my day job with the Arbites?
