Course correction:
( thanks given to Brother Envelope, for his taciturn evaluation that got this on the right track, and all of you who gave me the insight ((and the time of day!))to herd the cats in my head, and make this happen)

What are the blood games?

The blood games are a monthly event, that were created to bring us together as a community by forging new bonds betwixt brothers upon the anvil of war.


What is the Heresy Relived?

To kick off the Bolter Bromance, what better Place to start then where it all began, with Horus himself.
Each month we will choose a battle from the heresy and recreate it. Each battle will be skewed to one side or the other for both accuracy and to add a new challenge to those involved.
Can history be rewritten?

The DROPSITE MASSACRE:
A fitting place as any to comence the murder-make.

Raven Guard
Iron Hands
Salamanders

Traitor:
Sons of Horus
Emperors Children
Death Guard
Word Bearers
Iron Warriors
Alpha legion
World Eaters

The twist:
For each set of games, squads will consist of 5 players each, (four will play at a time, 1 sub)preferably people you have played with before.
Teams for the matches will number 8, and be the combination of 2 squads. (The goal here, not the rule, is to merge with another team that you may not have played with much if any.)
This will help to create the chaos and desperation of 70000 Astartes when they turn upon one another.
In addition to this, the loyalists will face a handicap.
Every game will have to final score screen capped, scores will be tracked to the man, and grouped by squad, legion and allegiance. The scores will be added up and the side with most wins, EXCEPT THE LOYALISTS ONLY GET 700 DEATHS. Meaning that even if the loyalists finish with more points, if the their total deaths exceed 700, they still lose.
This is to give the sense they are fighting to the man, and regardless of how much they kill and destroy, if they get wiped out. It's game over.
