I am going to have a character in this but I am more of a GM

The Rules are simple.
Firstly:
The actions of your character will be based on a,
Description - Reaction - Outcome
basis. For example

"Character" Jumps down onto the ledge below and clicking his bolter to full auto opens fire on the three Eldar senteries.....

*NOT*"Character" Jumps down onto the ledge below and clicking his bolter to full auto opens fire on the three Eldar senteries blowing the heads of the first two and eviserating the third.

Knowing you can do no wrong will make your experiance less enjoyable and it will quickly become boring. As the Narrator it is my job to describe what is happening around you ie:
The first two Eldar are cut down but the third dives for cover and returns fire.

The reason for this is that although you know 'you' can dodge, parry or take cover, your enemy can also!! and that is out of your controll.
Hopfully this will enhance your game. Do you take the hit? If so how bad is it? Do they? Do you dodge the snipers shot? Do they parry your chainsword? Does your bolter jam at a vital time? (( any TT players will remember THOSE rolls ))


Secondly:
Any OOC (Out Of Character) diologue, please put into spoilers. These are usually questions 'you' as a player may have.

The background:

Four Space Marines(You) have arrived on the world of Scalen, there is a target on-world but to reach it you will have to fight through the orbital blockade you have a Casteus Assault Ram and a thunderhawk at your command. you will now begin. Chapter one - Breach the blockade.

Brother Captain Cervantes, I will defer to you to decide our course of action. Though my suggestion would to be an attempt to run the blockade via Thunderhawk. It would wove risky, but it could work.

[Domine Nox]

"There is no risk when you are the Emperor's Hand, Brothers." Dekarn spoke up looking over the plans. His skull masked helmet resting beside him, bearing his grizzled and aged features.

"I agree that a Thunderhawk may be the most efficient means, if we are to be the sword blow that will cleanse this world, then we should strike swift and true."

[Brother Conrad]

"Agreed Brother Chaplain, may the Emperor guide us."
Conrad begins to move toward the hanger to begin the departure preparations.

Hector accompanies Conrad to help with the preparations.
"It will be a glorious day, brother. The traitors shall feel the emperors wrath."
he then parts way to head to the armory and restock his ammo and grenades.

Checks his equipment.... satisfied everything is in order follows the rest of his assigned squad. Looking around at his wards he wonders how many will he be walking home with and how many will be harvested for the Emperor.

"Brothers if you wish to have my weapons backing you up... dont destract me by getting injured... ok"

[Brother Conrad]

Conrad, reassembling his Heavy Bolter after a thorough cleaning while simultaneously completing pre-flight checks, says "Do not worry Brother Apothecary, everything should go smoothly so long as my Heavy Bolter has something to say about it. Besides, since this flight is a one way trip, I relieved the pilot so I could fly us in myself. No blockade can stop this Fist."

[Domine Nox]

"None can stand before us Brothers." Dekarn says stoically, fixing his deathmask helm upon his ancient armor. With a flick of a finger the energy in his Crozius sparks to life, filling the bay with the smell of ozone, and casting dancing light about causing the skull mask to seem alive. It then returns to normal.

"Brother Apothecary, the Emperor protects, and if our faith is strong we shall not need your ministrations, so that your gun may sound with ours in decrying the heresy of our enemies."

Alighting up onto the Thunderhawk Dekarn turns to his the assembled squad.
"Brothers, let us pray...
Where there is uncertainty, I shall bring light.
Where there is doubt, I shall sow faith.
Where there is shame, I shall point atonement.
Where there is rage, I shall show its course.
My words in the soul shall be as my bolter in the field."
