Hello Brothers. i have been reading alot of the herasy novels lately and was currious if there would be any takers for a idea.
So here it is. Of the origional 18 legions known. What is your favorite and why? Well there is a reason to this. Who would be willing to dress up some space Marines in Pre Herasy colors and kill some orks. maybe call it a part of the Battle at Ulinor.

I've always been a big fan of anything Nordic in feel, albeit I've got a soft spot for the Knighthood aspect as well that the Dark Angels had, as Romulous has said below me. However, the Nordic space barbarians won out for me in terms of favorites. Forget the rivalry the Angels and Wolves share, I love them both <3

Dark Angels.
Why?-Out of all the marine chapters i was drawn to the Knighthood in there Dark Green power armor when i was much younger. I found the veterans wearing robes and the religious nature of the Dark angels as appealing. That and the fact they were the first legion and had a perfect Gene-seed making them genetically superior to numerous chapters.

Emperor's Children.
They are the most perfect warriors.
They have the a very pure gene-seed (Pre-Heresy).
They killed a xeno race the fastest of any of the Legions. (Killed the Laer who where a race of xenos within a month I think)

Night Lords! The VIII Legion was kicking ass even before the Horus Heresy, I mean these guys were scary from the start, broadcasting the screams of their victims over the vox to demoralize the enemy. And you have to love that midnight armor.

It would be hard for me to pit myself as one single legion.
you all have very valid points.
World eaters are a violence of action chapter
emperors children because... well because they are them
My brother is a darkangles fan... not sure why they creap me out, kind of like the alpha legion in a way
The thousand sons were a great legion
but i still stand with the Luna wolfs as my personal favorite.
